I feel deceived by being charged $39.95 per month when I believed the agreement was for a one-time payment of $0.95 for a single service. They did cancel my subscription, but I have not received a refund of $39.95. Very frustrating experience.

If a service requires recurring payments, this must be clearly disclosed and explicitly confirmed, rather than hidden behind unclear processes or confusing subscription models. Customer support was slow and unhelpful, and the cancellation process involved unnecessary back-and-forth. The only positive aspect was that the subscription was eventually canceled, and I received written confirmation that no future charges will occur. Transparency, respect for customers, and ethical billing practices are seriously lacking here.
This is the same service as another known platform. They engage in deceptive practices! They charge a small fee for a PDF conversion, but then they automatically bill you annually for a much larger amount. I've already reached out to the payment service regarding this issue and I recommend others do the same. The challenge is that the payment service's automatic systems treat it as a 'consent' issue when you make that initial payment. However, you need to contact the payment service directly to have them investigate further. It's important to escalate this issue and work towards eliminating this questionable business from the internet!
The platform is reliable, but the advertising is somewhat misleading: they promote a feature that converts a PDF into an EPUB file. I assumed this meant they would extract the text and properly format it for EPUB. Instead, they merely created images of each PDF page and arranged them in EPUB format. Quite disappointing! I do appreciate their user-friendly interface, affordable pricing, and straightforward cancellation process. However, they don't truly provide a conversion service for EPUB.
