From start to finish, then experience I had from the initial phone conversation to talk about the bike I wanted, all the way through to picking it up, was first class. Nothing was too much trouble and the care they took to make sure they bike was set up and fitted to me was second to none - swapping out components and even giving me tips on my riding position

Yes you can buy bikes online, but you'll never get the same level of care.

Thanks Matt and Sean for all your help. I'll be a repeat customer for sure!!

Brilliant customer service from start…

Brilliant customer service from start to finish.All the staff are very friendly and accommodating.Matt gave me a spot on bike fit before and after I purchased my new bike. Matt is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kept me informed regarding when the frame was arriving at his shop and the build time.I would highly recommend The Bicycle Lounge.

Excellent Customer Service

I was looking for a Pinarello Grevil F3 2026 model and despite contacting a number of well known uk bicycle sales establishments I received limited if any responses in regard to my wish to purchase a new bike. Things changed after contacting Matt at The Bicycle Lounge in Ormskirk. Matt’s desire to fulfill my requirements has been quite simply exceptional, he doggedly pursued Pinarello to clarify availability and without exception he was able to accommodate all of my bike fit needs. Matt provided the best customer service and care that I have ever experienced, not just in terms of purchasing a bike but pretty much purchasing any high value items. I highly recommend the experience of bike purchase from Matt and The Bicycle Lounge, once visited I promise you will go back!.

Bike Fit

Went in for a bike fit as i had been getting lower back pain on my bike. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Matt who did the bike fit was friendly and very knowledgeable explained what he was doing and why the adjustments he made would help my issues. He made my bike work for me without needing to buy new parts.Over all a great experience and since the fit Matt has reached out to check how the adjustments feel and happy to say my lower back pain has gone!

I have been back to the shop today to collect my new bike , it's a pinarello grevil F3 in Etna black .The fellas in the shop are extremely helpful , knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make the experience of buying a bike as smooth and enjoyable as possible .Matt made sure that everything with the bike was spot on today before I left the shop .Their attention to detail is second to none and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a bike .I wouldn't buy a bike from anywhere else after the great service I have received from them.Thanks Matt , Sean , Ty and Peter for all your help Tom

“The Lounge”

I recently purchased a bike at "The Lounge" and I thought to just share my experience, and I honestly could not be happier with it. My purchase began with a phone call with Matt, who was able to answer any questions I had in regards of the bike I was looking into. I was met with polite and knowledgeable service which allowed me to make a fully informed decision. I really appreciate the flexibility of communicating through either email or on the phone. Another key feature was that Matt kept me very informed with what the process would look like in terms of ordering the bike and the specific components that I would prefer on it, this discussion and communication really allowed me to decide what it is exactly that I want before committing entirely. When I had decided to get the bike, I had travelled up over 500 miles back and forth to personally collect the bike and I was welcomed with complimentary drinks with an incredibly professional and friendly team. The place itself had such a good environment and included an impressive bike studio/bike museum. As it came down to seeing the bike, I really valued how meticulous Matt was, any slight tweaks, he was able to replace it on the day. At the end of the purchase, they even added a bonus aftercare which allows me to have the bike be fine-tuned even after this purchase which is truly just excellent customer service. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I couldn’t be more grateful to the Bike lounge on their service. A one of a kind service where all your needs are met. I cannot recommend them enough, if there's anywhere you should go to purchase anything cycling related, this shop is honestly at the top of the list!!X2fer LAGMAN

Confidence and Comfort Back on the Bike

I had a bike fit at the Bicycle Lounge with Matt and the service was absolutely top class. Matt was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand my goals, including getting me back riding comfortably after shoulder surgery. He explained every adjustment clearly and made sure the fit was tailored perfectly to my body and limitations, not just the bike. The attention to detail was excellent and the whole process felt very professional but relaxed. I left feeling far more comfortable and confident on the bike, and I could immediately feel the difference. Highly recommend Matt and the team at the Bicycle Lounge if you’re considering a bike fit — well worth it.

2026 Cervelo P-Series

I bought a 2026 Cervelo P-Series from Matt and the team following a number of different conversations and their expert guidance.I received invaluable advice about why this bike was perfect for me and why an even more expensive one would be unnecessary. They ordered the bike from the manufacturer and kept me up to date with its travel from the far east all the way to Ormskirk. It arrived in the shop on the Friday and I was taking it home fully built and fitted to me by the Monday. This was perfect as I had an event that weekend so they did what they could to ensure I got everything I needed in time. Their service was exemplary and I would recommend them to anyone/everyone. I am definitely going to return as a customer on a consistent basis - perhaps to my own bank account's detriment!
