My excitement for this bedroom furniture, left me kindled. As soon as they delivered the headboard, I could see the paint coming off. So I told the delivery boys to stop taking furniture off the truck. When I told the delivery guy to look at the bed and pointed to areas of concern; I rubbed the bed and it was white. The delivery boy said I couldn’t touch the bed. He pulled a sharpie out of his pocket and drew lines where it was white to make it look dark to match the fake wood. They publicized this as a wood bed; not painted to look like wood! How does wood flake, unless it has been painted? This headboard was inferior; just like the dump. Disgustingly, they charged me a restocking fee for this inferior furniture.Lastly, the delivery boy lied on me and said I dug into the bed, so he had to repair it with a sharpie. Well look two reviews down my couch in middle sagged a ton they came out told me it was cushion they replaced it an its only months later it sagged again called them told them first time is a spring they told me no its cushion, replaced it again an then i called an they said we cant do anything for you , protectall protection plan i paid almost 300 dollars , said its not covered too . well i guess i just spent 3000 dollars for a couch for a year it needs to go Dump now an not furniture store dump i mean landfill. BE AWARE I WILL NEVER BUY A THING FROM THIS VERY UNPRFESSIONAL company again . I advise all don't go there to bay a thing i give them a -5 for customer service . an 10 at being a rip off!
I purchased a Restonic bed for $3,200 based on the sales rep committing my bed would be firmer that the floor model. When it arrived, I was shocked that the bed is like the softness bed I've ever owned. No firmness at all.I wake every morning in pain down my spine. The sales rep really mislead me. With their no return policy, I'm out $3,200 and have to find another bed. I'll never shop there again.
I would advise not to use the dump in Tempe. I called the warranty line and the customer service line both said that a spring is not replaceable. The chair was $500. It was sat in maybe 10 times and a spring broke. They did not offer any consolation of any sort I would definitely not recommend the dump in Tempe.
The Dump at Atlanta Ga.case # ...... We bought a 3 pieces living room set at the The Dump. They delivered and one of the pieces was damaged. they offered to get it fixed. The chair has a leg that was tacked on by a deck screw and wabbled. They sent a guy to fix it and he fixed the leg but the chair still wabbles. Now The Dump said that the floor in our house is uneven and that is nothing wrong with the chair.
We purchase a mattress from the Dump with warranty in 2021, it start to sag within a year and a half, worsting the end of 2022. Contact the Dump with a warranty claim, they sent a co. (Tri County )which measured mattress sinking one & half inches. However my claim was denied. Had to purchase new mattress on 2/11/23 elsewhere, given warranty and was told if mattress sink one & half OR more mattress would be replaced. I will never purchase anything or step foot in The Dump again. Asked to speak to a manager, was ask for my phone number and never rec'd a call back. Which was not surprising. Very bad Customer Service and Do not respect or honor customer unless you are in the store and they are try to make a sale. NOT EVEN ONE STAR RATING!!!!!!
Bought marble top dining table (in Deerfield, IL store) that turned out to have smallish chip on the marble bottom edge.Dump did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.We submitted pictures to corporate office. After over a month of silence and call to corporate - answer is - "sorry there is nothing we can do". Store was not interested either. Thanks Dump!Definitely will not return and spread the word
I went to this store expecting to have a great purchase and spend over 10000, I spoke to the sells person (kirk), he promise me a price for everything that i got, a delivery date and a boucher for 500 to bestbuy to buy a tv or 300 off right there, so i pick the boucher, and everything sounds it great. But the problem was that when i was expecting everything that he promise was a lie, im having a running around with the delivery of my furniture, also they already delivery twice some of the furniture which it was damage and they they wanna repair brand new furniture for which i pay. The other problem i had was with the boucher of 500 dollar and they said they make a mistake for that and they were supposed to get the TV and give it to me, so I told them that I wanna the 300 and they said i was on time to do that,so i been expecting to get my 300 dollar off and now they call me telling me that they already discount that off my ticket when i bought everything. (When i was paying the first day, management came and try to discount does 300 off but i told them thay i wanna the boucher and my mom saw everything so now they trying to change everything. I try to talk to management and they dont wanna talk to me because they are so busy, sometimes they keep me waiting for over 1 hour and i have to call back to be able to talk to a employee and no manager. Im wring this to see if anyone in this business care about the reputation and the customer service are they giving to costumers. If someone can help please let me know.
Extremely unprofessional management and shady billing practices. Highly recommend steering clear and avoiding doing business with them.Context - first time buyer of 3 pieces of furniture and was overcharged $2,413.85 with only 2 of 3 items delivered.Management would not speak to me and referred me to the issuing bank, yet they are the one who posted the charges? A bank does not have background on billing errors so this tells me they are incredibly careless with sensitive info or actively trying to pad their sales with fraud and hope I wouldn't dispute it. In any case the way this was mishandled tells you this is probably not the first time this has happened. I'm still not sure why I was overcharged and if the 3rd item will ever arrive as agreed. This has impacted my credit and forced me to open a dispute case, not worth the hassle, Bob's Discount Furniture or Ashley near this location are better options.
We have shopped at the dump for years and they sometimes have some cool stuff. We recently went in to buy a King and twin mattress, a king foundation, a formal living room couch and some dining chairs. We couldn't find everything, but we bought some of it and one item was a $2,500 King sized mattress. When they came to deliver it, the guys took a thinly wrapped mattress out of the truck and it was ripped all the way down two sides. They did not see me watching as they taped the sides, in the middle of the street, and then I saw dirt stains when they brought it in the house. The worst part is after we sent it back, we decided we didn't want to buy the mattress at all, and the manager talked to me about it...after he did not bother to call me back the first time I left a message. It was like an inquisition. I first has to expain to the front office and then called back, the next day, to tell my story again and again. The manager didn't like that I was not willing to go on about what happened as he condescendingly told my story back to me. I told him we needed to move on because I explained why we wanted to cancel and why I did not want to continue going over the same story 5 times. He hung up on me! Isn't that mature. It doesn't matter. We will not pay for something we never received. If they try to deliver if on Tuesday then they are fools and at this point they lost another customer. How is this helping them? We had chairs that were to arrive at the end of the month and we won't be buying these now...time to move on to Noel or another furniture seller. The dump is losing customers because they have a stressful return experience and over all poor customer service. It gets worse each time we deal with them.
