Review Time
Ordered 2 weeks ago now and still in dispatch, apparently hasn’t even got to Royal Mail yet. I’ve been using my dull college knives and was so excited to get my new knife yet am still waiting for it to be on its way. Not been informed on how long to expect.
The Knives themselves are amazing. I ordered the Daichi set. My complaint however is with customer service. I live in Canada and had no idea these knives were coming from Hong Kong. I was not given any shipping information until I received a notice from from DHL asking me for "duty/import charges". At first I thought it was a scam but turns out it wasn't. For me it was hard to get in touch with customer service likely because we are in completely different time zones. I ended up paying the "duty/import" charges so be prepared to pay some hidden costs if you want these knives. So I ended up paying much more than what was stated on the website. Transparency would have been helpful for me.
