Absolute disgrace of a company. Charge a huge fee for what you understand to be the job in question. Engineer is then tasked, carried out the job extremely well and then you are presented with another bill for the job by the engineer who has already taken this company to court as they owe him money for other jobs he has varied out. Called to clarify, really poor customer service and the team are not bothered in any way. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolute rip off.
Looking for quote for simple job and selected company because all advertising seen on internet emphasised “no call-out fee”. Eager to take money upfront (seemed odd) only to find from receipt delivered later that had been charged £81 for “non-refundable call-out fee”! Very rude and hostile when challenged next day. Be very careful dealing with these people and think of spending more wisely elsewhere. Looks like a long haul through the small-claims courts ahead.
My aunty lives on the Isle of Wight she is an elderly frail 86 year old lady I’m her niece but unfortunately I live 360 miles away in the north east which makes it very difficult to assist her she phoned me to say her toilet was leaking I said leave it with me I will sort it I phoned the local plumbers but they said they didn’t cover the area but they could give me a phone number which was the local experts who I phoned they said I had to pay an upfront payment fee of £75 which I payed the job was promised to be carried out on that day I phoned my aunt but later on she phoned me to say nobody had turned up I phoned them back they said unfortunately we could not get any one we will not be able to get anyone until Tuesday which under the circumstances I thought was a disgrace the £75 I paid I was lead to believe would be taking off the final bill so I explained to her when the plumber arrives I’ve already paid £75 so she told him his reply was I haven’t being paid any money and I’ve only received the call today but if they had phoned me under the circumstances I would of come out and done the job earlier so basically the local experts could not careless that they left a little 86 year old lady very distressed without a toilet for 5 days she could not flush it so she has being using a bucket please do not have any dealings with this company they are charging customers to give contractors phone numbers out and when speaking to them they are very rude and totally unresponsive and there customer service is absolutely dispicible just out to take peoples eyes out and come back for the sockets please avoid the local experts at all costs ( scammers) charged £75 for nothing except a contractors phone number thinking about starting the same company up in the north east.
