Attended Megacon London back in January and had Mr Arita sign some cards live on the day. I noticed The sub center had a stand at the event so decided to submit my cards there and then. I let the guy on the stand guide my submission as I was a novice when it came to sending cards to PSA. I went for the upgraded service and postage and he assured me this was the safest and quickest way as the process for metal cards was slightly different to regular cards. He said they had more than enough to submit in the January submission and I should realistically expect my cards back some time in march which I felt was fair.After multiple emails with the team there I realise I've been lied to by either the guy on the day or the email team as my cards are still deep in the process at PSA and its approaching the end of April and 60 working days since I submitted them. This has nothing to do with the new tariffs, the pause in submissions or anything other than the fact my cards weren't sent when I was told they would be and a 45 day turnaround is going to end up being nearly double that. Its really sad as one of the cards was earmarked as a birthday present which has come and gone and I have thousands and thousands worth of cards I would of submitted moving forward if this had been a good and trustworthy experience. This is really poor considering i paid £35 a card and went for the upgraded postage etc all on the word of the guy working on the Stand...
Amazing experience sending my first 12 cards with these and they came back much quicker than expected. Already sent another 15 in and hope for more psa 10s 🙏 Dan and the team are excellent at communicating and responding to any issues. Have already recommended to a friend and would recommend to anyone else
Good service with tracking to be able to see where my card was in the process.My only issue is that the card i sent for grading came back with whitening on the corners and edges that was not present when it was sent.Not sure if this is due to how it was handled at the sub center or PSA but think i will just cut out the middleman in future so at least when my card comes back in a worse condition than it was sent I know it wasn’t the middleman
Had a submission with them recently. The service itself is good and they handled my cards well. However it is unacceptably slow. I posted a review to Google about this and received an incredibly unprofessional reply. I sent cards and it took over three weeks for them to even send them to PSA after they arrived despite them hurrying people with deadlines. PSA took their usual timeframe and then once back with Sub Center it took more than another week before they sent them back out. Adding over a month to the process at more cost than going direct to PSA is unacceptable. Their reply was incredibly defensive and looking at other online posts, it's their normal behaviour. Their excuse is the volume but that's irrelevant. If you are getting high volume then you can afford to hire staff to process those orders. It's treating customers as numbers and there are plenty of other grading services out there that have a much more personal touch and will do the same job, only much quicker. As I said, the service itself is good and I was pleased with my grades but it's ridiculously slow and the response was unprofessional. Use someone more personable so you're not just treated like a number.
The Sub center has been amazing, every submission I have sent has been processed professionally with clarity and great communication. The staff have been helpful and knowledgeable, Josh is a star for being able to answer the few questions I have had during submitting. I would definitely recommend The sub center to any collectors thinking about submitting to grading companies overseas! Looking forward to my next return :)
Been using them since it was just Dan by himself in his shed at home. Always been absolutely spot on with communication and whenever there was any issues (damage due to Royal Mail ) it was always sorted asap. Highly recommend to all my friends every time.
