Show was amazing , Superb. Ticket purchase was streamlined . The service from staff at Lyric Theatre was fantastic. Only misgivings were after paying a small fortune for great seats and upgrading to the deluxe package we had misfortune of being seated next to a very rude woman who continually spoke loudly to her partner even at times when there was complete silence in the audience and there were only 2 performers talking on stage . She had no care for those seated right beside her or around her . Although this was beyond the control of the theatre , we do wish this was stated at the pre show introductions just like the no photography . Seems some people need reminding of this important etiquette. Also there was chocolate on my seat which I wasn’t aware of at the time we were seated . It wasn’t until we stood up for the finally that I realised I felt something sticky on my dress ! It was all over the side and back of my good dress as well as my handbag . More thorough inspection of the seats and cleaning would have prevented this . I am in the process of laundering my good linen dress today and trying to remove the chocolate from my handbag 😔😢We really enjoyed the show and evening ,Unfortunately both these incidents dampened things for us ☹️
