Review Time
Everything connected with the purchase eventually worked. Since I am not tech savvy (I had to ask my granddaughter what an "app" was) I was almost sure it wouldn't; other tickets bought from various agents invariable allowed me to take a snapshot and bring that. Having that option removed has added an added complication and extra "angst" about whether we are even going to be able to get in. What if my phone was out of battery? What if the app didn't open? Would Ticketmaster just smile and keep my money? I really had no idea, and an hour before the performance I wouldn't have even rated you as one star on this survey. But, miraculously, it all worked, though it took me a bit of standing at the door and playing around with the phone while people were walking around me to get in. I understand (thanks to my granddaughter) WHY these new restrictions apply, but it's really not very customer-sensitive of Ticketmaster to solve its problem by heaping an extra set of complications on the hapless customer... making the many pay for the actions of a few. But, I suppose, my age group is in a minority nowadays, so why should Ticketmaster bother to make things easier for them?
