Disappointed with Sourcing and Delivery

I was not aware that the seller is based in China until I checked the tracking. It has been three weeks, and my package (wooden utensils) has been stuck in customs since December 22 after traveling around China. I am worried about using a product that may have been handled poorly and could potentially be toxic. Is there lead in the coating, like many products from this region? I am seeking a refund. I'm curious about others' experiences with refunds from this seller. I might even consider filing complaints for misleading business practices since there's no mention of China on their website. If my package does arrive, will it be damaged or not as advertised? Will it have a chemical smell? I regret ordering these utensils, and if they do come, I plan to have an expert verify if they are indeed teak.

Unaware of the Company's Origin

Concerns About Origin

First, these took an extremely long time to arrive. Secondly, they are made in China (the company fails to disclose this important detail). Thirdly, they are overpriced for a product mass-produced in China. The utensils look great, but I don't trust them and will only use them for decoration. After further research, I found American-made options and will choose those instead. Don't waste your money on this product.
