Toyota canada is HORRIBLE to deal with. 2022 sienna having kick sensors draining the battery. There is a recall on the 2022 models for US and Mexico. But nothing for Canada. Toyota won't do anything about it. Absolutely shit company.
On November 13, I paid for the app and it worked the first day. After that, a message continued popping up saying "Downtime - We are experiencing technical difficulties with all features. We are working in resolving this problem as quickly as possible & apologize for any convience this may cause." Today is one week later and customer service told me I have to re-download the app due to an update. This message was very misleading as it does not direct you to do anything and sounds like the issue is on their end. The customer service department has told me they will not extend or credit me for the week I've lost for a service that was not provided. Horrible service, will never subscribe to this service again.
Do not buy a roof rack for the new Toyota Tacoma. It is a piece of crap. I had 3200KM on my truck when I heard a very LOUD vibration. I initially thought it was the highway road noise. It happened again, this time only louder. Obviously I took it back to my dealership. They test drove it and said, " It was a bent drivetrain?" Had the drivetrain replaced and they assured me that they had fixed the issue. NOPE... took it out and it was still there. Long story short, had to take it in, the Service Manager took it for a test drive and declared it was the " Roof Rack" that was making all the noise. I was not convinced. So, the decision was made to remove the rack to ensure that is where the noise was coming from. Sure enough the noise was gone. So now what??? We travel throughout Canada and the USA and the noise is so bad we cannot drown it out with music or anything else. The only option is for me to have it removed. Keep in mind this is a $2000.00 accessory that I thought we needed so we could attach a Thule. I tired to work with my dealership but of course they had to go through Toyota Canada. I was prepared to trade it out with a Tonneau cover and sell my Thule. My service manager has been dealing with Customer Relations Toyota Canada . He said " They have responded that there have been several reports of this issue from other Dealerships as well. Toyota Canada is aware of the issue and is working to towards a resolution to resolve this issue and take care of the vibrations/noise concerns. Since this isn't necessarily a safety issue and is something that can be fixed/ addressed properly , customer relations have not offered a reimbursement at this time." I cannot believe that Toyota Canada will not take care of their customers. Tony Kelly is the Vice President of Customer Support & Service Operations, and Product Quality and Service Support. I bet he will not hear or see this complaint. That is unfortunate as Toyota Canada will continue to sell this product knowing that it is defective and that there are issues. I cannot wait for a resolution, I am disappointed with Toyota Canada, I am stuck with a piece of crap, they will continue to sell it and tell the customers " sorry, we are working in a solution...Who knows when that will happen??
I bought a new grand highlander the gone in just over 40k I called toyota canada to replace the engine but refused and repaired with alote problem car was shaking and week i was in dealership and telling me everything is okay I finally give up sold the car with 30k lost don't buy grant highlander not all of new toyota is not good engine and toyota.ca customer service very bad people and rude people
I am not rating my local Toyota dealer but Toyota Canada. Be warned people if you buy a new Toyota you will wait at least 3 months with no transparency from them. I paid a down payment in early May and STILL NOTHING from Toyota. Simply put I don't know when my car will arrive. I need a car now. Will likely get my down payment back and move on, Toyota is too frustrating to deal with!!
Writing this on behalf of my friend as he does not have his own Gmail account for the review."Worst experience with this dealership and I advise everyone to stay away and go to another dealership. Period. I went to this dealership to purchase a brand new Toyota Sienna of the year. They told me that due to chip shortage that there was no vehicle available at the time and that may have need to wait a few months.I asked approximately how long and they said most likely ~6 months but it may be a few months here and there and to not hold them to 6 exactly. So I left them a $1,500.00 deposit on the vehicle after discussing price and signed the agreement and final invoice. My current vehicle that I was to trade in to the dealership as is was a much older Toyota Sienna requiring repair which I did not want to put more money into. After the approximate time given, I had called month after month only to be told we have no control over this and there is no vehicle left and to wait. I had no choice but to invest A LOT of money in repairing my current sienna.Fast Forward TWO YEARS. They tell me they finally have a vehicle available. TWO YEARS. As upset as I was, I was even more upset that I had to keep pumping more money into my current car and that it would finally be something that I can put behind me. I went into the dealership to finalize the paperwork and schedule the "delivery" only for them to tell me that there is a 'slight modification' to the contract. They changed the price from ~57,000.00 (before trade in) to ~70,000.00 (before trade in). How does it make sense to finalize a contract and make a customer wait 2 years and then tell them to pay 70k for a Sienna?Who would pay that much on a Sienna? At that price I may as well get a Lexus TX.Even then I had to find out at the end. They called me in for the vehicle, I went to see it and told them I need a started installed at the dealership as I do not want any warranty issues and they told me it would be $800.00. I said is there any negotiation or adjustment on it especially for waiting all this time? I was told no and that they would add that to the remaining balance and have me sign the final paperwork. THAT was when I questioned the total price and they told me the price went up.Absolutely ridiculous.I have nothing against the salesman that assisted me but I have a terrible opinion about this dealership and it's policies as this clearly comes from higher up.If this deters even one customer from trusting this dealership then I will be more than happy.I have no faith in this dealership contacting me to make this right but pictures attached of documents. I hope this stays up so people can stay away from this place. I have no complaints about Toyota. I have every complain imaginable for Toyota Laval."
Hi My name is Mr Addil karim.I reserved a toyota yaris 1.4 diesel FN16HZZ with inchcape toyota North Nottingham. On my first test drive I went on a motorway and when driving at the speed of 50 Mph to 60 mph the car made loud vibrating noise.I spoke to [Ming Wang/ Jo] he said he will get it fixed and then you can take the car.I said okay that's fine. Before my second visit Jo sent an email to me saying that he got a reply from the technician, They said it's just got some service rust and it's been sorted there is nothing stopping you taking the vehicle. So I booked and appointment and went to pickup the car but just befor signing the documents my Mr's said why don't you test drive it again. So I said okay I'll go for a quick test drive. When I went on to test drive the car again on my second visit it was really hot 🔥 day so I said to Jo can I put AC on and the car AC has was finished and only hot air was coming out anyway when I went to test the Car on a motorway the car vibrating noise was there and nothing was fixed. On that day Jo said I thought they have fixed it I am really sorry about that.I will get this fixed for you don't worry about it.So we came back home disappointed 😥 after few days Jo spoke to my Mr's over the phone and he said maybe your husband is not used to driving a diesel car.Well that's not true because I never owned a petrol car in my life.Later he sent me another email which I am going to attach a screenshot of all the emails.Don't buy used car from them guy's they can't resolve the issues and they'll waste your time I did lest a review on their website I don't know how to attach a screenshot here sorry about that. But be safe don't buy used car from them they have no clue about fixing it.Thanks

I just bought a Toyota 2019 corolla hatchback. Apparently I bought it too late because as of a month ago the only app I could use to have maps on my infotainment system (in car screen system) was discontinued. The car itself I really like, but after unhelpful information on their website about compatible apps (they tell you to check the app store for what's compatible even though there's no way to check that) and emails saying the same thing. I waited on customer service hold for an hour just to find out that it is only APPLE PHONE compatible. Meaning I can't connect with my android. This is a vehicle. An EXPENSIVE purchase and they don't have ANDROID. Not only does this seem like a gigantic oversight but a huge safety hazard for half the population. On one of the most popular cars. It's such a ridiculous thing that it brings everything else way down. Maps are so important to navigation and the fact I can't look at the screen that already exists and is bigger than a small phone screen is unforgivable. It's 2023 and not like it's hard. This isn't some silly app for something that barely makes a difference. It's a CAR. And the fact that now, in order to have easy and safe navigation I have to go buy a second phone that is specifically apple is a huge slap in the face. Half your users are android. Figure it out. You are a large company. You can afford a tech guy to create compatibility with android. Never heard of something so ridiculous
