Review Time
I placed an order with tradeplumbing in 2012.I unsubscribed from their marketing emails in March 2014 and received an email confirming it.I then received another 3 marketing emails in 2014 after I thought I'd successfully unsubscribed.I tried unsubscribing again in December 2014 and again received an email confirming I'd been unsubscribed.I received another marketing email in 2016.I sent an email to sales[at]tradeplumbing.co.uk on 2nd February 2017 to notify them of the issue with their unsubscribe process and to request that I be manually removed from further communications. I didn't receive a reply.I received more marketing emails in April and July this year.This time I decided to just hit the "report spam" button in Gmail and leave this trustpilot review, in the vague hope that this might make tradeplumbing take more notice of data protection regulations.Update 29th November 2023:Following Trade Plumbing's response I received another marketing email on 20th November. At least this time it went into my spam folder.
Helpful chat line with real person who knows the products, or will find out for technical advice on spec. Fast delivery of Carisa vertical radiator but wrong one delivered (a much more expensive mirror version!). Error soon corrected at no extra shipping cost to me.
They were very willing to check the spec of the product on their shelf when I rang to check. Having confirmed the fittings for the pressure reducer, they said to order on line before lunch and it would then go that day. It did and I received it and fitted it the next day. Great cooperation and service. Thanks.
Had a little problem with billing initially, not Tradeplumbings' fault but my mind was put at ease with a quick email to customer services.I ordered a radiator which was not a normal sizing and I could only find it here. Pricing was reasonable and delivery was next day, awesome.
