Our holiday with the Travel Department was a great success From the time we met our guide to our departure was flawless She was meticulous about every detail of the trip,her knowledge was amazing and her care and attention to everyone was wonderful.The hotel delivered everything we could need.Dining was good but sometimes the long queues were tedious .having separate tables was very good.The swimming pool ,towel service and the availability of sun beds was excellent.The tours were varied and so interesting.We didn’t go to Seville as we had been there before.Islantilla is a very small resort with little to do outside the hotel ,this suited us very well A short walk from the hotel gardens leads on to a beautiful unspoiled beach.The holiday was very relaxing and the beautiful weather played its part.We look forward to seeing your brochure for 2026Many thanks
The Solo Traveller trip to Croatia was brilliant! Stunning scenery, excellent company with our group, and a very good guide, Nina who was so helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. It is beautiful area, and the trips were very good too. The hotel is modern, with access via steps to the beach and promenades under pine trees where you could walk for miles!
Extremely well organised trip from start to finish with vists to incredible sites and monuments. Really excellent tour guide, Sanjeev Kumar, who added so much to the overall experience with his organisation skills, huge knowledge of the sites we visited and also India as a country and insights into culture and society etc were fascinating. Sanjeev also made the whole trip seamless andfun for us but I’m sure he did huge amounts in the background to make this happen! Highly recommended this tour.
Just back from sri lanka with travel department and had an absolutely amazing time guide was excellent and the driver and helper were very helpful all the tours were amazing temples the rock the safari s the gemstones ect ect all the hotels were very good massive rooms especially habarana hotel the best omelette ever cooked by thilinika I am considering going back thanks again travel department Michael hart
Everything was already organised by T Dept, we just turned up n enjoyed. Our guide Jeremy Poole was superb, so knowledgable n patient, our driver Laurence, so competent n funny n clearly loved being with us. Tours, experiences, hotels, food etc all superb. Safari was amazing - out of this world, picnic in the woods was magical, champagne breakfast on last morning, so special. We loved everything. Thanks T Dept.
