I had a very disappointing experience with Traveloka’s refund process. The refund timeline can take up to 90 days, which significantly affects financial planning and creates unnecessary stress for customers.
In addition, Traveloka does not provide accessible customer service hotlines in many countries, making it difficult to reach a real support representative. Most responses feel automated and generic, almost like AI-generated replies, rather than personalized assistance from an actual customer service agent.
I had to wait a considerable amount of time to receive any meaningful response, and the entire process was time-consuming and frustrating.
I hope Traveloka improves its refund processing time and enhances the quality and accessibility of its customer support services.
Bought the ticket and the issuance was for 2 hours until I chat with customer support who claimed I input wrong email when checking out as guest. They provided me with the PDF file ticket with PNR that did not work. The chat is replying in hours and messaging in FB ended in ignoring. NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM TRAVELOKA! Just use it as search engine for the reference.
This was the worst travel experience. I booked a return flight to Melbourne but decided before departure that I would stay longer. I called them to change my flight. They said they would send me a quote to reschedule. Every Traveloka quote lasts for 45minutes only, and you DO NOT know when that quote will come to your inbox.
Quote one finally arrives in when I was flying to my destination, so I missed the quote
I rang again to reschedule. It was late at night as I had just landed in a different time zone. I requested the change. I had to stay up so I didn't miss the 45 minute quote period. 2 hours later it arrived. I paid for it and accepted the quote. I got a confirmation
Next morning I awoke and the booking was cancelled as the flight price had changed. Traveloka had taken too long too book it for me??? I had to call again and go through the whole business again. I now have my flight, I'm finally flying out tonight. I just went to check in and my baggage allowance is incorrect. I have just gone into the app to manage my booking, and it said I can no longer manage by the app I have to do at airport. I'm furious as I will pay double to pay for luggage. I have just called Traveloka about this and they said quote unquote... if you go to the counter 4 hours before they can help you and you can pay there. It's a domestic flight so I will not be going 3 hours earlier than necessary . For me, never again- Traveloka is unreliable
I will never use this service again -1000/10. We were traveling from one city to another in Vietnam when they canceled our flight and rescheduled us to an earlier time instead of a later one. We received no email notification, so we arrived on time for our original flight only to find that our new flight had already departed. We had to rebook at a significant cost and delay, and when we requested compensation, they outright denied any claims for the new flight or a refund for the canceled one. I will never trust this service again; it's incredibly frustrating.
I was directed to a platform that advertised an enticing $80 discount for my first booking. I chose to use this service to help with my travel budget for the new year. However, when it came time to enter my payment details, there was no option to apply the voucher. We were charged the full amount a day before our hotel arrival. When I reached out for assistance, I was informed that the voucher only applies if the payment method isn't set to pay at the hotel, which wasn't an option provided, nor could I enter the voucher code. This feels misleading and unethical, and I won't be using this service again.
Arrived at the airport only to discover a booking issue between the service and the airline. Spent an hour on the phone seeking a resolution, but there was no accountability or willingness to help. It’s unacceptable for the representative to suggest booking another flight when the next one isn't available for four days. Forget about the money; this service clearly doesn't respect your time or travel plans.
I am extremely disappointed with this travel service! I found a price on a flight search engine and went to the website, where the price appeared the same. However, after entering all my details, the flight price nearly doubled! I then found a similar flight at the same price, but by the time I completed the payment, it had almost doubled too! I called immediately upon discovering the actual charge. I reached out, and although someone answered, they just took a note and never followed up. I tried emailing and messaging, but received only automated replies. This has been honestly the worst experience ever and feels so unethical! Avoid this service at all costs! Do not use this agency; it's a scam!
Disappointing platform. I bought air tickets, but the ticket number can't be found on the airline's official site. I also wanted to reserve a seat, but that wasn't possible. Other platforms have not had this issue. This was my first and last time using this service, and I can't recommend it.

The support team has been helpful, and I’ve always received refunds and resolutions for any issues I've encountered.
This app is a complete scam. They have held onto my money during my trip to Saigon. The staff promised that my funds would be returned within 3 to 7 days, but it has now been a month. They scammed me out of my ticket and accommodation, forcing me to book a new plane ticket and hotel. It was an incredibly distressing experience. I demand the return of my money.
