We booked 9 nights at TUI Magic Life Fuerteventura, but the experience fell far below expectations. The main swimming pool — a key feature in the hotel's photos — was closed for renovation during our entire stay. This was only vaguely mentioned in the booking confirmation and never clearly communicated in advance. The hotel is in poor condition: outdated facilities, doors that don’t close properly, and brown hot water due to heating issues. It's also not family-friendly — beach access is unsuitable for kids, and the kids’ club is very basic. On the positive side, the location is nice, and the restaurant and cleaning staff were kind and hardworking. Sadly, this wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. This was my third time booking a trip with TUI, and it will be the last. I won’t be using them again and cannot recommend them.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEMI booked a trip and told i could cancel up to 48h before trips starts, something came up and had to cancel 24 days before the trip starts, and they are now saying it's not possible to cancel without a fee and they will charge me 60% of reservation as a cancellation fee. I will NEVER EVER BOOK with TUI EVER AGAIN. 0 TRUST in them
Absolutely disgusted! I went in trying to book a trip at a price I received from them three days ago (€1700). Suddenly, that price was no longer available and had increased by €300. Outrageous! But let’s say many people booked in the last three days and the price went up—that can happen. It becomes truly unacceptable when I realize that the exact same trip (same date, flight, hotel, etc.) is actually €100 cheaper online (1900) than the new price offered at the agency (€2000). Horrendous!Do not go there expecting a better deal or service than what’s available online. On top of that, they charge an extra €39 just because you visited the agency—a so-called “premium service” fee, which you don’t pay if you book online. What a rip-off.
I just called the TUI number for assistance… (+44 20 3830 3111). The joke is no one knows what assistance means at that number.I purchased a tar after and paid cash, so I needed a receipt and my voucher had no price on it. I spoke with 5 different operators, no one had a clue. They had my ref. Number, all details, simply unable to give me an answer. The last one was special, he had no clue, but said a lot of things don’t make sense at TUI but you can write a complaint 😳 I just wanted a proof of payment. Finally I spoke with the operator that issues my ticket and on their confirmation email there is a link to request a receipt. I wish the people answering the help desk number were properly trained. It is truly an ‘helpless’ line…
Booked a vacation package with TUI.com, flight is with TUI Fly Belgium. TUI.com gave me wrong booking reference numbers for the airline. When I contacted them and asked to double check if everything was correct, because we couldn't find our flight on the airline web-site to reserve our seats, they gave me the same wrong numbers once again. Eventually we contacted the airline, and their customer support provided us with correct references, we were finally able to reserve seats. Now I am nervous that they also could have messed up with the hotel reservation. But not sure how to check that.First time using them as a travel agency, and from the onset it is not a very good experience.
