I am in the USA and I tried to get in…

I am in the USA and I tried to get in touch with Tui, for 2 days, before I got through to a human being, I wanted to upgrade my seats for my return journey, but was told I cannot do it, they alway have premium seats left, as they are expensive, but they still would not upgrade my seats, I have used TUI, plenty of times, but will not be booking with them again, as the customer service department is rubbishs.

I wish that I could give zero stars

Tui are appalling. We all look forward to our holiday. On Tuesday 9th July I set off for La Gomera with Tui. It’s been a nightmare. The first issue I had was I was dumped at Los Christianos port with no further information and no ferry ticket. TUI sent me a text telling me which ferry I was booked on and how to get a ticket. This was sent after that ferry had departed. I contacted them and they thought the issue was the ferry was running late. TUI then suggested that I get a later ferry then a taxi to my hotel, both at my own cost. I’m horrified that they think this is acceptable. The hotel is not as described. Advertised facilities are not available. TUI are not responding to any messages, I can’t get through via their chat, they don’t have a rep on the Island, I’ve left a message with their rep but no response.I’ve learnt my lesson and will never again book with TUI.

I forgot my passport on the plane

I forgot my passport on the plane - I found out in 30 minutes and started to deal with the situation. I have made many calls, one of them also to TUI agency. Almost nobody could speak good english on the phone and all they did was refering me to the lost and found office at the airport (a contact which by the way I found myself and called immediately). Only one TUI agent at the airport was really trying to help me out in the situation, others - especially the lady sitting on the TUI airport office - wasn’t trying to help me at all. They just didn’t care. I know it was my mistake but if somebody would do at least more than the bare minimum maybe I could reach the passport when the plane was still at the airport.

Ruined vacation and a lot of stress.

Tui provided incorrect passenger information and an incorrect phone number to the airline. This was discovered 24 hours before the trip. TUI refused to correct their mistake and cynically suggested buying a new ticket. As a result, the vacation was ruined. I managed to resolve the issue with the airline myself, but it took hours of phone calls in three languages. This concerns the work of the Finnish branch, but I would like the main international office of TUI to read this. I couldn't find any contacts on the website, and the British support service mockingly provided a postal address for paper letters.

Awful experience with TUI …again

Original holiday cancelled a few months before departure due to works at a neighbouring hotel. Can’t believe TUI had only just found out about it. Only one available ’adults only’ option to our destination so accepted it. I wish I had taken the refund option. We spent weeks choosing our original choice and despite originally being asked to pay more for the replacement (as the price of holidays had gone up in the 6 months since we booked our original break) we were eventually offered the holiday for the same price. I regret accepting the replacement so much. Awful hotel. It’s my second terrible experience with TUI in the last two years. Last year they failed to pick up my daughter and 1 year old granddaughter to take us to the airport in Tenerife and we had to get a taxi to the airport at my own expense. I WILL NEVER EVER BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH TUI AGAIN … I fully expect a customer blaming response from TUI. It’s what they do.

Tui Blue have certainly lost the plot

Tui Blue have certainly lost the plot. For years we have holidayed with TUI but are now sick and tired of feeling just another piece of luggage. Currently at TUI Blue Medulin. Clean hotel, nice room but totally soulless. Every time we book our holiday we advise in advance that I am coeliac but most time I have to fight to feed. I explain this numerous times to respective hotels but now realise it’s totally pointless! Currently on day 11 of a 2 week holiday and the gluten free food option is appalling. Can’t even have soup as it’s thickened with wheat flour. Once again can’t wait to get home to some normality. TUI rule the world on European holidays and will never have profits affected now we’re over covid but come on TUI - please give us back the opportunity of 5* service we could expect when we’re prepared to pay for it!!!

This company is ridiculous

This company is ridiculous. They had more than two hours of delay fin a flight that was initially planned to leave at 22:05 local time and ultimately left at 00:10 the next day. This would signal a change of time of arrival from 00:25 local time to 02:30 which would completely destroy sleeping pattern etc. The company did NOTHING to compensate for this inconvenience., even though I said that I had a medical issue and asked for a change of ticket for another day. The excuse: we cannot change the flight les than 4 days before the departure. Such a lame excuse. Ridiculous company

Lack of compensation following a major accident

Horrible experience with TUI Belgium. My wife and I booked a 14 day vacation to Cape Verde and an excursion with TUI. During the excursion the TUI car had an accident, my wife suffered a fracture of several rivs and sternum and we spent the second week of vacation in a local hospital. After our repatriation we requested compensation to cover the damage suffered (loss of one week of vacation and several weeks of care and convalescence at home) and TUI Belgium replied to us that the accident was not their responsibility and it did not offer us any compensation. In my opinion this is contrary to the Belgian law of November 21, 2017 on package travel, but TUI did not want to hear anything or tell us how to cover this damage. This lack of sensitivity and professional honesty is inexcusable. If they want to go to court against their clients they are even worse than the worst.
