ITALIANI, Fate attenzione!

Descrivo la situazione in inglese:Regarding our odyssey with Air Cairo, let me explain the situation: At Munich airport, we were denied boarding at the check-in counter (an Italian couple who attempted to check in before us, also TUI customers, hat the same problem and got stuck at the check-in. Another family of our region passed with only IDs - who knows why). The employee present on the counter informed us that we couldn't fly to Egypt without a passport and would face immediate deportation upon arrival. Only I have got a passport in our family; the other four people are traveling with ID cards only, as the other two travellers too. For 15 years, we, along with tens of thousands of other Italians, have been traveling to Egypt annually precisely because no passport is required due to an agreement between the EU and Egypt (previously a bilateral agreement between Italy and Egypt). An ID is sufficient. Obtaining a passport in Italy is very difficult, which is why most Italians have historically forgone it and have been traveling to destinations that don't require one for entry. After enduring a lengthy wait ( the Air Cairo employee kept us waiting for around 50 minutes, time that, of course, wasn't taken into account by us), the teenagers traveling with us and my mother began crying pitifully while the elderly couple panicked in front of the check-in counter. Nevertheless, we stood our ground, knowing that we only travel together as a family once a year due to my busy schedule as a attourney and my mother's infrequent ability to leave her business. Only when we sought assistance from the Bavarian police, our last hope in this grotesk situation caused by horrible service and incompetent and frustrated employees (we lost another 20 minutes), did the Air Cairo employee relent and suddenly claim she could check us in after all. Mockingly, she added, visibly satisfied: "You just won't make the departure in time." She falsely asserted that we would be fined upon arrival as we could only enter the country with ID cards. However, we all knew this wasn't true. Subsequently, we had to undergo passport control, which took some more time. As I passed quickly through the automatic entry with my passport (it was 12:55, and the flight was scheduled to depart at 13:05) I managed to delay boarding at the boarding-counter for a few minutes as the rest of the group still had to undergo manual checks. At 13:04, the others of my family and the two elderly gentlemen from Ortisei had yet to clear security. The boarding staff informed me that the flight had already been boarded. I was so overwhelmed at that moment that I struggled to breathe. Fortunately, the boarding staff took pity on me and managed to delay the departure a bit longer.Suddenly, my father, sister, and her boyfriend arrived at the counter. However, the other couple and my mother were nowhere to be found. Still gasping for breath, I hurried back to passport control. The elderly couple and my mother, who suffers from heart failure, couldn't keep up with our pace. I did my best to get them to the counter as swiftly as possible, and miraculously, thanks to the compassion of the boarding staff, we managed to board. Nonetheless, they warned us that our luggage might not arrive. I refuse to accept this treatment and this will definitely have consequences. We and others were treated like second-class citizens. I have never experienced anything like it before.

At the check-in work boors

At the check-in work boors. Larnaca. Checked the documents for 10 minutes (illiterate two employees and a supervisor=3 person). I asked to be careful with the my documents. The supervisor responded by swearing at me (without witnesses). June 16. 19:25 flight x34553

Worst service

I will never book or fly with TUI again. We had a 26 hour delay on our way back from Egypt. This resulted in us having to pay for a hotel and transport on the day off, as we were arriving in the middle of the night and no trains were going back to our city this early in the morning. Now TUI refuses to pay compensation, as they say the delay was due to weather conditions. We all know that the plane to Egypt was only 3 hours delayed, but the pilot was over his hours and not able to fly back until the next day. Otherwise it would have been more than possible to get us back with a short delay.

NEVER AGAIN THEY DESERVE A ZERO RATING

Booked a Tui flight over a week ago, due to fly in 16 days and they cancelled the flights today. Why did they take bookings for a flight that isn't going to operate!!I am in Spain and need to get back to the UK and they haven't even offered to sort out a new flight for us to get home (3 Adults + 2 year old toddler). I am now having to try and sort this out myself & the flights on the same day are now really expensive.I thought when they cancelled they were meant to try and get you back home by finding an alternative flight even if it is with another airline (NO MENTION OF THAT IN THE CANCELLATION EMAIL ! )NEVER AGAIN WOULD I USE TUI

No response to complaint over 6 weeks

For our first trip to Mexico I decided to book the hotels through TUI Germany as I assumed it's a reliable and responsive company and I wanted to avoid any hassles with the local hotels. It's been a big mistake!Upon arrival to our Cancun hotel we were informed that TUI has booked a lagoon view room for us instead of sea view. (I specifically selected and paid for sea view and not lagoon view during the booking, and my confirmation also said sea view - but unfortunately only in German language.) I had to pay an extra 290€ for the sea view room on site and the hotel suggested I clarify it with TUI Germany. Communication with TUI in the app has been slow and unhelpful and they didn't manage to solve the issue while we were there. At some point they started explaining that in Latin America the lagoon view is also considered sea view (???...) - this was the kind of unprofessional, shady discussion I wanted to avoid in the first place on my holidays. After trip was finished they simply stopped responding at all. I submitted a complaint over 6 weeks ago and haven't received any kind of response. I never assumed TUI had! such a bad customer service, but I guess I should've read the customer reviews here beforehand...

Customer support lies. Tui changes dates of your trip so you loose days without any real compensatio

To sum up fast. Customer suppor lie. Tui changes dates of your trip so you loose days without any real compensation.First of all, me and my girlfriend had booked a full trip with hotel and flights for a week long stay in Bulgaria. Suddenly just a month before we are supposed to leave we get a mail that reads out "change confirmation for your trip" that tells us our flights have been rescheduled. Excuse us what?We were now supposed to leave in the middle of the night from our home country instead of really early in the morning (which was planned so we could enjoy the whole day in Bulgaria of course). We will now arrive the next day instead? Are you serious... And the hometrip? That was changed to leave only a couple hours later than normal, however this didn`t change anything because we still need to leave the hotel and check out at the same time when traveling home again as we would have before. Not only does this loose us a day of stay in Bulgaria. We literally need to change our whole plans, parking reservations, stay before the flight from home county and a longer wait at the airport when we are leaving to travel back again.Second, I call up customer support line. Wait for a good half hour as usual for TUI. I am then approached by this lady who seems like she will do her best and then says she will call me up in a few minutes or hours. BUT! Never calls back or gives any further information. I call back a few days later and a new lady informs me that the previous lady had denied my request or something aloung those lines and supposedly "tried to call, but got no answer".I HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED A SINGLE TIME! Neither does my phone log or company have any history of incomming calls... So she straight up lied. I get denied my request of either getting a new flight to better fit our actual paid trip or money back for the day we lost, but no. They do not care. They just continue to say "we can reschedule you to another date for 4 thousand (NOK) more". I have work. I can`t just change the dates after a vacation is set.Third and lastly. They give me compensation... Thanks? I just wish it wasn`t LESS than a HALF day compensation for a whole day lost. Incredible!I will conclude with this.If you want to travel with TUI, of course do so. But be aware of why they have mostly 1 or 2 star ratings ;)
