SUSPENDED?

I opened a Twilio account and had filled in all of my details, I was on the trial account and decided to put £20 onto the account, when the page refreshed I was instantly met by a page that my "account has been suspended to suspicious activity, please contact our fraud team". The "fraud team" has contacted me once with outreach asking questions, I have since filled the questions in but the responses seem to be unbelievably slow.It's been 6+ hours since I was suspended and not a word from the "Fraud Team" via email.I will definitely be switching to a competitor at this rate...

scam organisation cold calling members of the public just to validate telephone numbers. Don't actually speak on the phone, just hang up. Beware.

Company Philosophy has Completely Changed!

I heard the interview of Twilio's founder, Jeff Lawson, on the "How I Built This" podcast last month. That Mr. Lawson had built Twilio for small businesses to compete against larger companies inspired me to pitch Twilio to our team. After applying for a new account, our account was deactivated without an explanation despite my repeated requests for contact. I can only infer from the lack of explanation that Twilio no longer has an interest in supporting small business startups and is more interested in larger corporate profits. This is a shame but understandable. As a business grow, they often forget how they got there in the first place.There will be other competitors in this field and I will be using them instead of Twilio.

Don't Buy! They seems good but just a SCAM!

SCAM! This is my first Trustpilot review and ı can say that they can close your account with no reason and take your money. Their support is not answering you back.

Account banned for no reason

Account banned for no reason. I tried to make an AI Whatsapp Bot, i saw a tutorial, spent one day configuring everything... I paid them 20$ and after 3 hours, my account was banned and I should explain them why I'm using their services... Really?! You advertise your services, I pay you and then, I should explain why i deserve your services? I contacted my bank to cancel the payment, waiting for the rest...

delivery rate better then any other

I tried many service for sms delivering and Twillio show best delivery of many others service. I want to improve support but you can get the answer from support if a push a littel bit

If you want to receive SMS for verfication, avoid this company at all cost

I want a long-term phone number for Twitter verification so as to avoid sim swap attacks.Twilio claimed that their phone number could be used to receive SMS (they would charge me a few cents), so I tried it. In fact, their system filtered out the SMS I wanted to receive and refused to help me solve the problem (assuming that I will violate their "Acceptable Use Policy" (AUP)).Therefore, I requested a full refund and wanted them to delete my account from their database. They only replied to the latter issue that I could delete my account on their platform but avoided answering the former (refund) issue.I have created a full refund ticket to Paypal. Avoid this company if you are not big enough to make them handle your requests.
