Go downhill fast. I have the core tier and release music under their label. Randomly their AI model claims my song is ripping off another one, this is just another hassle that unchained music unprofessionalism is creating. Now to use my music with UGCs I have to confirm some things with a Dropbox link? Seems kinda fishy. I gave Unchained music a try and I don’t think I will renew my membership if this kinda of stuff keeps happening.
Unfaithful and potential scammersI released my music before the AI terms change and had to reapply, however i was denied core access after i reapplied.Further your youtube video "Unchained Music’s Free Tier Is Changing" is archived as well as your other videos for further analysis.as you have failed to respond within a timely manner of as it says on your site, 5 business days for core members. You left me with no choice. I have already made a video warning people and it seems like you're just a bunch of scam artists and cannot be trusted.edit: you are at the very least a bunch of con artists and take advantage of YOUR OWN artists. its not my fault i get 10 streams spotify are the people that will not promote my music, as well as youtube - odysee - soundcloud [which i have since deleted bc of their ai terms change] and audiusfor the record i did send an email to your support team [support[at]unchainedmusic.io]containing:"why have you rejected my reapplication? as a small indie artist this is disappointing, this is by far the best platform i have used and by far the most money i have gotten. i have core because i cannot afford to have a paid plan, i don't make anything as i live with my mother currently. i cannot afford this new plan.if you're insistent with this i will have to file a complaint and warn people about using your platform because you kick your own small artists off the platform. (like me!) i spend days, even weeks creating my own tracks and think about how to mix and master them. i do this all in my free time.I will not be upgrading past corethx for listening ig-xyena"you owe me 0.38 cents for my time and effort on your platform.furthermore your claim "-evolve our policies to protect our ecosystem" is simply untrue. if you wanted to protect your ecosystem you can promote your artists. your social media manager natalie clarifies this on her linkedin as a 'digital marketer'-This further proves you are a group of scammers that take advantage of your own artist base.your other claim "accusations without proper engagement" is also untrue. why would you drop artists off the platform rather than helping them.This does not align with your previously written "Core Values" as stated on your page which reads:"TransparentIt comes as no surprise that the music industry isn't transparent, and this creates issues for new and developing artists with the 'how' they should progress in their careers. We will default towards transparency for the user and the community whenever possible."If there is not 'progress' in ones said 'career' then how do you expect for new serious artists to even begin? again this doesn't line up with your values of your company. Its Cheep and Bad.I try to uploud my Songs for a couple Months now!They Claim "Cover art is copyright" every cover was selfmade. I even changed the cover to another new selfmade one THEY STILL REJECTED. They claim "they reverse searched it" THERE IS LEGIT NOTHING (obv bc i created the Cover duh) . And the Support is sooooo slow. Its been now Months and the wrong Artist is still on my Profile...Only good thing is the interface thats it.
To be honest, I was looking for a platform to post my old music. Recently, under the pretext that people started posting music with AI often, they decided to "recheck" everyone. I received a refusal because of some auditions (I haven’t been creating or promoting anything new lately and I just wanted the music to be on the internet), some unknown and new requirement forced them to remove me from the platform. That is, the very fact that there was a pretext to weed out unscrupulous musicians who made compositions using AI, they could simply come up with many other reasons, for example, like mine - less than 50 plays on Spotify - that's cringe! I didn't need money from them, but mainly that my music was on the Internet. But I'm ready to swear that they will come up with a thousand more reasons that you are not suitable for them. They need profit from you - that's one, secondly - so that you do not spoil their statistics and contracts because of AI compositions (if you make them of course, I for example do not). Horrible attitude, I will go to another distributor. Not only is it hard to get to them, but they will already have you caught under a bunch of made-up excuses and will remove you from their platform. And they will also brazenly say that I can only work with them on a paid basis (as I said, if you are not profitable for them, they will throw you out). I hope that your company will not survive long.
We’re a tiny label—three people, two cats, one chaotic catalog. Unchained helped normalize titles, unify credits, and flag duplicate uploads from years ago that were confusing our reports. They even caught an old distributor error we’d given up on.Release days used to be stress city. Much better now.
Ya'll so corny, like am telling you that your review process is too slow you're telling me that I have to re-upload my track and add some details again??? How many days did it take you for you to send my track back and tell me to add details huhhh??? So many days right??? Am telling anybody reading this text please don't use unchained music am begging you🙏🙏 they can take a month to review just one song even if you're on paid.I don't even care about the money I spent am just angry on the time I have wasted so many months bruhhh since april that I subscribed they haven't sent one of my song to any stores despite me cross checking all my songs before uploading.
Unchained Music is a good servicefor those who do not want to pay for distribution.Although recently they had a (and still kind of have)review delay, delaying my release for over a month now.In general they are great.Although I switched my distributor for speed and comfort reasons.They are a good start for rising artist.Regards,ilyJoyce
