Truly awful

Truly awful. Horrible to use, but customer service is even worse, they are in it just to mooch money from people. After I paid for a year, they refused to publish my song saying ending of the song wasn’t cut right. I asked for money back as I said I won’t use them anymore, they never replied again. Crooks.

Just what I need

I've used 2 other distibutors in the past. Each had pros and cons. But For me, Unchained has EVERYTHING the other 2 were lacking. I get the great customer service, reasonable yearly pricing for distribution, Extra services like quick AI mastering (which sounds excellent by the way), and a feeling that you are a priority. I would highly recommend.

I am impressed

I am impressed with their customer service. I contacted Unchained Music, letting them know I was having an issue with Apple Music. They fixed the issue for me! My previous music distributor would not have done this for me. Unchained Music went above and beyond.

Unchained is Great

well, i come across unchained some months ago, so far i have wonderful experience especially with the support team, they are active, quick to responds, they solve your issues easily. fast in releasing song. what they need to improve on is delaying or long waiting payment pattern but they're wonderful, i give them 5 stars. go for unchained music. thank you

Unfriendly with AI MUSIC

Their TOS allowed AI music, but if you submit all music generated by AI, they rejected all of your music.Don't wasted money and time. Slow review process, and no sense of rejection.My 18 albums were rejected, even I subscribed Unchained Pro Plan, Terrible service.-- Updated ---Due to I cannot reply their comment below, so I sent a request for refund because their policies. They cannot, but Distrokid can. No one reply and no refund now.However there is admin on trustpilot. If you have time and care about ur customers. You should declare the reason clearly on your website, and make it faster to reply or review the music. Each album spent 5 days. Finally, I create music with prompt, I regenerate a lot until I got the song, the cover I change a lot of prompt until i got the image, how dare you say i create without human creative.Anyone who looking for music distributor, I can say chose DISTROKID. I submited same album and my album got approved with in an hour, instead waiting for 5 days and got rejected on unchainedmusic.-------- Updated March 23, 2025 ---------I was challenge by Unchainmusic again. They requested Trustpilot to ask my personal information like my email, my full name, my invoice, and my telephone number to prevent fraud review. I filled my information, my invoice id: 0057B56D-0001, and I already paid to this companyUnchained Music Inc.651 N Broad StSTE 205Middletown, Delaware 19709USAsupport[at]unchainedmusic.ioFinaly I just wonder instead of they refund my money, that will make me satify, but they want to delete negative feedback from real customers. I still confused that Unchained music cannot distribute my music, but Destrokid and Symphonic can. The company goes to the wrong way, and sooner or later I hope they will lost more customers due to my comments.Actually, US law also have consumer right protects act. Customers can ask refund within 14 days without question ask. They also violate the law by create their unclear term of use. If anyone facing same case as me. Please try to filling to Consumer protection organization in USA like FTC. I think this might help more people for recover their fund form unethical company!
