Review Time
I was super excited to begin receiving Urthboxes but the first delivery was enough for me to cancel. Two of the items are expired; one being a coffee creamer whose package has swollen to the point of rupturing. Other items in the box are anywhere from 3-26 days away from expiration. It's almost as if this company buys nearly expired goods wholesale, then profits on selling "goodie boxes". Not worth the headache or possible food poisoning.
The worst customer service. I have tried to change my delivery address for months and they just keep sending to the old address. Literally five months of a paid subscription that has gone to an old address. They can’t even figure out how to just cancel it. So frustrating.
It has been extremely difficult to cancel my subscription. I signed up for one of these as a gift for someone else and received incessant marketing emails. As such, the emails ended up going to spam, including the one saying they were auto renewing the subscription. I reached out to customer support asking to cancel my subscription. I was sent multiple screenshots of their language everyone clicks through to send a Christmas gift that states I agree to auto renew (infuriating). They stated then I can only cancel a partial amount since I had agreed and they already shipped the box (which is not a great box in the first place and the recipient of the gift was never impressed). Lo and behold another month rolls by, and since I did not twice confirm I wanted to cancel my subscription (which is odd since the initial email was me asking to cancel my subscription), they send another box, and say I cannot be refunded that amount. I asked in the second round of emailing for a way to leave a review for UrthBox to no avail.Poor experience all around, I would caution against dealing with this company as they use several unsavory business tactics and disregard for the customer when it comes time to part ways.
I ordered the first box special in July 9th received the box in July 21 when I got it everything was literally cramed into a small box and everything was melted together I contacted then they said if I ordered another 56 dollar box I would get a few extra items that's not what I paid for they would not send me a replacement when I sent pics of contents I was told I would get 5 dollars back DO NOT ORDER from here they are a scam
