My answer as a current customer is, “YES THEY ARE.” They will take care of your payment processing, and if you need to figure out your square online store, they can and are willing to do it for you.The equipments are inexpensive; and easy to use. The funds are deposited quickly.“USE THEM”
Square is awesome and cares about your business, you would think as big as they are they wouldn't treat you like family, but they do. They care about your business and not just money. The loans are an added touch, that show they care about your growth.
This company's beyond unethical - and probably fraudulent - policies are not going to go unnoticed any longer. We are about to sue them for "stealing" more than $2k from our account.They allowed a scammer onto their site, failed to catch the breach, verified the scammer as legit, allowed him to send us a payment, then, two months later, demanded the money back - which we no longer had and which was a valid transaction approved by Square, the bank, and the credit card company. Instead of writing it off as 'fraud/loss prevention', or taking any accountability for its own failure to stop an identity thief, these shysters decide to hold their users accountable for their own mistakes. Not the end.
I have been a Square user for so many years (like 20?) and two businesses! I recently contacted support for a question on if some hardware was going to be updated…the first reply didn’t really answer it (but gave me tons of resources!), so I re-stated my question and the second reply answered it and gave me a resource that I didn’t even know existed but was so helpful! The whole time, the support person was friendly, professional and helpful and they didn’t give up until my question was answered and I really appreciate that! Plus, the Square software integrates with my Squarespace website POS purchases, so it makes me happy to have a truly helpful support team when I need it :)
