USAA customer for over 4 decades. Rear-ended while stopped at a red light. The 22-year-old driver who hit me has no license or insurance. The Police report showed I was not at fault. USAA says it will not pursue any liability from the 22-year-old. I am responsible for all damage. He goes free, and my rates go sky high! USAA has developed "bone spurs!"
USAA is excellent bank. They send me notices of suspicious activity and are quick to respond to issues. They have great overdraft protection giving you a notice you are overdrawn and time to add money to your account instead of immediately charging an overdraft fee. Customer service is outstanding and very helpful. I have been with USAA for over 20 years.
700 credit score,121k a year and a 10% DTI, i also direct deposit all my cash to this acct. and have been with them for 24 years. I applied for a CC to have for emergencies and they were only willing to give me a 500$ limit. I will be paying my 57$ balance off and shutting all my accounts down.
USAA has covered me my entire adult life since I started driving. From age 18 to 77 the vast majority of my claims were covered satisfactory. A recent episode involving an accident where I struck a deer was not covered. Instead of the $500 deductible which should’ve been made, my secondary insurance covered me for $2500 deductible. Until this last incident I would’ve given five stars.
This bank owes me an apology and they will give me all my money back for this dispute that’s still open with documentation provided. I will provide every single receipt here. As a customer for 9 years.
DO NOT TRUST USAA and pray that you are never hit by a driver that is insured with USAA. We have been fighting them for months now. Getting them to cover a rental was a multi week fight. Getting them to fix our vehicle was a fight. Still fighting with them to even get a response about them paying the medical bills that we recieved because of the accident. And good luck when you try to get any dimished value out of them. If you are in an accident and the other driver has USAA please find an attorney same day to handle it for you. The mental and emotional burden/stress they have cause my family is completely uncalled for.
Windshield damage claim. Worst customer service ever. Must go through safelite glass for claim. Dont want to work with safelite well then they will make you take 30 pictures of windshield in the single digits outside temp while using a stupid phone app to send them in. Oh yeah and hold a quarter next to the damage while you take photo with other hand. Im doing their job here. Spent 3 hours getting shuffled around customer service.
Spoke with supervisor because the regular agent couldn't answer my question on a credit card transaction fee. He couldn't answer it either. He never explained anything, then said, 'I understand your frustration, now that I've provided answers to your satisfaction, is there anything else I can help you with?' He hadn't answered anything when I started explaining again he just kept repeating himself like three times in a row without a break, talking over me, and then hung up! You can call and ask for the office of the CEO to make complaints against supervisors, which I did.
After 21 years, it's disheartening to see such a decline. This used to be a top-tier insurance provider, but now I wouldn't even trust them with my pet. It feels like profits take precedence over people. I'm advising all my fellow veterans to consider leaving this service. There are far better options available now than before. They seem to prioritize wealth over customer care.
We discovered a leak that seemed to have been present for an extended period. After purchasing the home two years ago, I immediately contacted the service provider upon noticing the problem to initiate repairs. Having been a customer for over two decades, I typically receive prompt assistance for any issues. We had the team investigate thoroughly to locate the leak, and it turned out that the exterior structure was deteriorating from the damage. Unfortunately, our claim was denied because the policy excludes coverage for 'long term rot,' according to a representative from the service. Although our policy states coverage for hidden mold and rot within the walls, this was disregarded. After years of consistent payments, we feel let down.
