Review Time
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Vantique has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. The quality is absolutely awful. The stitching is uneven and sloppy, with loose threads all over the place. The material feels cheap and already looks worn, despite being brand new.What’s even worse is that the patterns don’t align properly — the overall finish looks rushed and careless, like something thrown together with no attention to detail. After just a short time, the fabric is puckering and the seams look like they won’t hold up.For the price I paid, I expected at least basic durability and craftsmanship. Instead, I received something that looks second-hand and poorly made. I cannot recommend Vantique to anyone — save your money and shop elsewhere.
Zero! Just like everyone else has stated garbage was sent compared to the picture on their website and advertising. Lies. This printed blurry image that has been stitched by machine is hard to put a price to but probably not worth more than a third of what I paid! There is no fill in this thing. "Handmade nature of our quilts" is a lie. This funky shape that is evenly spaced and uniform all over is obviously done by machine. Lies. Order a printed photo blanket from a company that does photo printing and save $. At least that way you get what's advertised.
I ordered the round skeleton quilt for my daughter, who is a big fan of Halloween. It's not a pieced quilt as some reviewers have thought, and for the price point, I never would have expected it to be. It's a printed panel with what looks like a computer created allover top stitching. The printing was was excellent, as was the stitching. One reviewer mentioned there was no batting between the front and back. This is true, but since it's not meant as a blanket, that didn't bother me. In my opinion, it wouldn't make for a good floor covering as shown on the website, however, it does look great as a wall hanging. As for communicating with the company, I did get concerned after reading all the negative reviews. I contacted the company twice for a shipping status, and it both cases, received timely, helpful replies. At this time, I would order from them again.
