I purchased a Mad Dog trike in July 2025 from this company. I also paid extra for their “Full Assembly + PDI + Tested” service, which was supposed to mean the bike was inspected and ready to ride.Within the first week, and under 100 miles, the trike began failing. It would lose power down to 10–15 mph, and eventually it stopped running completely. I reported the problem on August 13. As of early September, I have still not received a single replacement part or tracking number.Instead, I have exchanged dozens of messages and phone calls with them. They keep demanding more troubleshooting from me, while refusing to send the basic parts their own technician agreed might be the cause (fuel system parts). They even hung up on me during one call. Every promise has turned into more delays. It has now been a month and the trike has never run properly. I have spent over $200 of my own money trying to troubleshoot a brand-new bike that should have been covered under warranty. The company has changed names between Belmonte Bikes and Venom Motorsports, but it is the same operation. In my experience, this company uses stall tactics to avoid honoring warranties. They promise calls and escalations but never deliver results. A new customer should not be expected to endlessly troubleshoot or repair their own defective bike.
Worst Customer Service I have ever received all they want to do is waste your time with I need this photo or a video of this or video of that and then want me to trouble shoot in a video so that can tell me what I don’t told time several times is wrong with my bike over 25 emails and 2 weeks and two different people. And I’m where I was when I unboxed the bike! Save your money and spend the extra money on a name brand bike with real customer support. I provided photos, videos, countless email. I have all the proof if anyone is in sure I’ll gladly show you how incompetent these guys truly are. They just want sell you some cheap half ass put together bikes. The bad thing is if they supported there product it’s really not a bad bike. I’d buy another if it wasn’t for their lack of customer service. Stay away!!!
Venom racing matix 125 brand new BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!Do not buy from venom . Worst customer service and products ever ! Brand new unboxed bike with tons of issues the only thing on it that's ok is the frame sadly . Engine sounds like metal floating in it or a bad valve , chain binds up grinds metal all over the frame and makes a bad sound when driving as shown in videos , carb issues as it stalls when you let off the gas , loose components rear shock wont tighten front control arm and many more lose parts , has absolutely No power i basically have to push my son to get it up the driveway and if you try to climb the smallst incline it boggs out and smoke comes from the gearbox and smells like burning rubber and stalls . Many more issues as well . They wanted me to pay for a local mechanic to diagnose the issues at my cost with no offer to help with anything when the bike was like this when I bought it and contacted them RIGHT AWAY they wanted videos well here they are and the rep I talked to was very rude and said his " technicians " looked at the videos and deemed everything perfectly normal and literly was rude enough to make my son i bought it for cry as it was unusable out of the box . I have the conversation saved if anyone wants more videos or to see how big of scammers they are ill provide you with all that info you wouldn't believe how bad this company is SAVE YOUR MONEY dm me with any questions or to see any more videos or the rep conversation that will make you really wonder how they can run a buisness .
Venom is scamming people. Just bought a “brand new” $4000 250cc ATV from them. They said it would be delivered assembled in one week from purchase and it took 3 weeks. Because they changed the delivery date five times we could not be home the day they finally delivered so they dropped off in our driveway on an acreage. Before I even unwrapped the bike, I could clearly see it was not brand new. Grease stains and grime throughout the parts. Scratches and chips in the metal as well as the plastic parts. Front side fins had several scratches. One disc around the chain was rusted. I take out the registration certificate to find it is a 2021 model( they obviously put a new odometer in it) then I go to match the VIN to the bike and it don’t match so now I don’t know what the hell I’ve got. What I do know is that they had a used bike sitting around and sold it as a brand new one. Did a sloppy job trying to make it look new. The battery is from 2023 as well. They must have painted over the old steel because they got some paint on one of the bolts. The decals look old and dirty at the edges and some of them are peeled right back and won’t even stick. Probably because they tried to apply new decals to a used bike that had rough surface from usage. Called them, sent them pics and videos. They tried to say that the only model they have of the mad max 250cc quad is 2021 but that it’s new. Yet all their advertisements state “The all new 2023” up-graded mad max 250cc”. So it came out in 2023 and by the looks of it, they tried to send me a rebuilt 2021 version while representing it as a brand new 2025 quad. Have started a dispute through our cc bank and requested Venom to send us a pre-paid return label so they can pick it up. We’ve asked for a refund and they just give us the run around. They wouldn’t even offer to send a brand new bike out (not that we want one now). Will be filing with BBB as well as any other avenue available to make them accountable for the fraud they have committed.
I had ordered the Venom Grizzy 125cc quad and paid the extra $200 to have it pre-assembled and ready to ride. Immediately after pick up i found the quad to be missing crucial grease nipples for the suspension and it would not stay running and would stall when my daughter tried to ride. After reaching out to customer service, I was provided a picture of the missing grease nipple and told to go buy replacements at my own cost and then was provided a troubleshooting email regarding what to do to have the quad stop stalling. After requesting a refund for the $200 pre-assembly cost and asking for them to pay for the grease nipples, radio silence. No further action has happened and my issues have yet to be resolved.....I still can't believe I paid extra and they want me to buy the parts they neglected to Install at the factory...1 star
I wish I would have read these reviews first. Got the X18R 6 months ago and the brakes are seized and it's over heating. After dozens of emails and calls all they can say is fix it yourself or take it to a repair shop. Also, these are toys.. Not real motorcycles. Thankfully we just ride up and down our street. It lasts about 7 minutes if we don't use the brakes.
I purchased a bike from Venom Motorsports in November. Unfortunately, it arrived with issues starting up. Despite contacting their customer service and sales departments, I found no support due to a limited warranty. Instead of a direct solution, they sent parts and step-by-step instructions for self-repair. The process was time-consuming and, to date, the bike remains unfixed. I expected more responsive and effective customer service, but my experience was drawn-out and disappointing.
customer service is good and fast response from parts I have roma 50 with 5000kms on it with no issues except for the belt braking but it was an easy fix and remember venom pruducts are not that expensive,go buy brand names and you will pay more and not always get whta you pay for.
