Extremely Disappointed with [Security Company Name] – A Company That Does Nothing but Take Your MoneyI am absolutely fed up with the appalling service provided by [Security Company Name]. This company is all about making money and has completely failed to deliver on the security and support they promised. Here are the 8 major issues I have faced: 1. Impossible to Reach Customer ServiceIt’s almost impossible to get in touch with anyone at this company. The phone lines are always busy, and I’ve spent hours trying to speak to a representative, only to be left hanging with no response. 2. Rude Foreign Staff and Poor English ServiceThe staff, especially those who are foreign, are unfriendly and unhelpful. The English-language support is incredibly weak, making it hard to even communicate basic issues. It’s unbelievable that a company in this day and age cannot offer good customer service in English. 3. Alarm System Not Sensitive Enough – Slow to Respond to Break-InsThe alarm system is a joke. It didn’t respond quickly enough to an attempted break-in, and when the thieves were inside my property, there was no immediate action taken. This is a serious security flaw, and it makes me feel unsafe. 4. Customer Service That Passes the BuckThe customer service team never solves problems. Instead, they keep passing me from one person to another, making it clear that they are more interested in avoiding responsibility than actually fixing issues. 5. Extremely Slow Email ResponsesI’ve sent several emails over the past weeks, and the responses have been incredibly slow – sometimes taking days. It’s frustrating that it takes so long to get any kind of help or acknowledgment. 6. Avoiding Responsibility for ProblemsWhenever an issue arises, the company just refuses to take responsibility. They keep saying it’s not their problem and avoid helping in any way. This is completely unacceptable for a security company. 7. Confusing and Misleading PricingThe pricing is all over the place. When I tried to cancel their service, they immediately offered me a discount to keep me as a customer. This just goes to show they’re more interested in taking your money than in providing real value or service. 8. No Value for Money or AssuranceAfter spending money on their service, I feel completely unprotected. There is absolutely no value for the price I paid, and I regret ever choosing this company. They offer no real assurance of safety or support.I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from [Security Company Name]. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and have zero regard for customer satisfaction. I’m extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.
I have been trying to change my 3 month installment cycle to 1 month since I've signed up with Verisure.1. Reached out to their call centre which indicated, no problem, we've changed your cycle from 3 months to 1 month. Guess what, didn't happen and received another 3 month invoice.2. Reached out to the call centre again and this time they indicated, no, they can only change to 1 month installments if I request an electronic invoice through my bank first. Great, so different story now... I then went ahead and requested it through my bank, which was successful. I then told the agent I'm thus not going to pay for the 3 month invoice. Agent indicated, no problem, it will take 5 business days to reflect the electronic invoice request and on the new invoice cycle, it will be fixed. Guess what... it didn't happen. Yesterday I received a paper invoice asking me once again to pay for 3 month installments with an invoice expiration date of end of Jan?? It's end of Feb?Today I find out that I've been handed over to a collection agency, that have now charged me a collection fee, notification fee and interest for, Guess what, 3 months installments!Verisure is a bunch of sharks. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.Firstly, taking people's installments 3 months in advance as your default option is unscrupulous. Default should be 1 month with an option for someone to decide 3. People are not here to make your books look good and for you to earn interest on their money!Secondly, for your inability in changing my 3 month installment (option that I did not choose) to a 1 month installment, which resulted in me being handed over to a collection agency, then having to pay reminder fee, notification fee and interest.
The salesperson offered a price, 3 months off, and no binding period. Reality was almost 2x price, no months off, and 2 years of binding period. After a lot of back-and-forth, I managed to get the discussed price and 3 months off with customer service, but I later learned the binding period so now I can't cancel. Customer support is also very hard to reach. Terrible experience. Never had an actual alarm go off, but based on my other experiences with Verisure, I wouldn't trust them in an emergency situation.
I am extremely disappointed with Verisure. I purchased their alarm components with the understanding that I could continue using them even after canceling my subscription. However, Verisure changed their terms and effectively made most of the equipment useless without an active (and very expensive) monthly plan. Although the smoke detectors will still sound an alarm and the Yale lock has basic functionality, every other device is now rendered worthless unless I keep paying their high fees.In addition, their monthly cost for simply connecting to the alarm center is significantly higher than what other providers offer. It feels unfair to be locked into expensive subscription charges, especially when I was under the impression that I had “bought” the equipment outright. I would strongly advise anyone considering Verisure to weigh their options carefully and compare prices and terms before signing up. My experience with their services has been thoroughly disappointing. Edit: since I can’t respond I will make an edit here. What they say in their response is sadly a lie. You can easily google about this issue. A lot of people have written a complain to ARN including me.
