Review Time
I was required to have a physical inspection after moving the gateway around 50 cm from it's original position. Reason for the relocation was due to a new electricity central. The support team was able to verify fully functional system after the relocation but still insisted that without a physical inspection, the agreement couldn't be fulfilled and the system would be in service mode.During the visit, no changes were needed, since the signals were good (as stated before) and it generated a cost of 895 SEK. I believe Verisure is big and mature enough so it should be able to update it's outdated/irrelevant procedures and protocols to adapt to nowadays life/technology making it more customer attractive.
I bought a system for 7000 kr 3 years ago with this company, I asked the seller what gose in the price and she explained the components and the instalation, I dubble checked with the tehnician and he also confirmed. Couple of years later, today because of financial issues I wanted to quit the subscription, they were very nice to help me reduce the monthly cost and everything but unfortunately I have to quit. So they tell me that I have 3 month more to pay and that they will send a tehnician to come and pick the components up. I was confuzed becuse I payed for them 7000kr. They answered that 7000kr was only for instalation and not for the magnets on the doors. Really? How is this even possible? If anybody would know that you pay 7000 kr only for instalation and 2000kr every 3 months and you don't get to keep the equipment they would never sign the contracts in the first place. Don't be fools guys, learn from my mistakes don't sign any contracts with them or the other company buy a system that is self reliant that connects to your wifi you not only save money but you get to keep the equipmentand it dose the same job ;) . Shame, I should become a alarm tehnician and charge 7000kr per hour :| . Because that's how this works in Sweden.
I am calling Verisure to cancel my subscription. After queing in line 15 minutes I finally get through to some customer service person. She spends around 10 minutes to find me in their system (!?) and after that she puts me through to someone else - despite the fact that I chose specifically the "cancel subscription" option when calling them. Now I have been queing for another 10 minutes in this new que and I have no idea what is happening. I guess it isn't easy to cancel your subscription here. The alarm system isn't what we were looking for. We had an alarm triggered during night - our robot vacuum somehow triggered it despite us having this type of thing activated in the app. I got up in a bit of panic with 2 small kids in our house and opened the app (while the alarm was still ringing). I couldn't see why the alarm triggered, I did not get a call from Verisure and in the end I had to shut it off after perhaps a minute to avoid my entire family waking up. I then had to take my baseball bat a do a round in the house to see if there was anyone in the house. Where is the "call Verisure" button in the app? I am supposed to go to the front door of my house to get in touch? I live in a 3 stories house, so if someone broke in, they would most likely have done it in the ground floor. Not fun to go down there at 3 AM.. Cancelling this if I will ever get through. Now total of 30 minutes waiting time...UPDATE: Finally got through to a new customer service agent and that one was competent. I told him about my experiences and I cancelled my subscription. He would take my feedback to whoever and also make them call me back regarding my experience. He is the reason for 3 stars instead of 1.
