Review Time
I really like the quality of the product, yet I am disappointed with the installation. The blinds have not all been hung in the centre of the window frame. As such, they are assymmetric. This isn't really noticeable when they are up but becomes very noticeable when they are down. I expected a snugger fit for a made-to-measure product and a better reponse from a company that prides itself on its quality and costumer service. I have reached out to Victory Blinds to assist me with the issue. I am awaiting their response but doubt that I will get one now. This is doubly disappointing as I opted for Victory Blinds over its competitor, Spotlight, who provided a cheaper quote, as I was convinced that the Victory product and service would be superior.
Marty is a genuine guy, it was a pleasure working with him to fit our new home with blinds and curtains. His knowledge and experience made the process easy and I felt I could trust his opinion - he might be a sales guy but ultimately he loves his product and wants us to love it too. When a friend had a quote from Maria I saw how professional and experienced she was. She came and measured for my living/dining area and we had large sheer curtains with lining curtains behind installed. After the installation I changed my mind and wanted one of the curtains split and reinstalled with separate controls. She arranged for one curtain to be removed, adjusted and re-installed at a reasonable price. I am 100% happy with the final result, especially getting exactly what I wanted.
From the consultant to the fitter, we had a wonderful experience. They were kind and punctual and really knew how to achieve exactly what we wanted. They listened and were helpful with any questions I had.The quality of the product is excellent. We purchased our first heavy-backed curtains from Victory 25 years ago, and they were still perfect to this day but we wanted a change. We couldn't be happier.
