Review Time
Multiple attempts to contact to get a blind replaced in my home. After roughly 5+ calls I finally spoke with a customer service representative who was very polite on the phone. However, I still have not yet received the quote I requested and haven’t had any communication from them since. I’ve taken my business elsewhere.
Shocking customer service from Emma Hughes in Job Control. At first simply rude. Secondly installation delayed on three occasions and still insists payment before installation when date can still change ? Secondly threatens for delayed payment when I was not even invoiced. I am a customer for last 10+ years due to Fiona Michelson who is very professional. But this last experience has convinced me to take my business elsewhere. Be cautious when they ask for full payment before installation!
This is my second bad experience with Victory Blinds. The first time a consultant came an appointment was made for 12pm. This person turned up an hour earlier and thought it was acceptable because her previous client cancelled. This time I have an appointment for February and last night (22 December) this consultant texts me at 8,00PM to confirm a booking 2 months away. Obviously they do not respect times frames or business hours but they wouldn't answer texts at that time of night.
So disappointed in Victory Blinds, we have used them in the past and had no issues, but this time it has been a nightmare. It has taken from March to November to finally get my 5 blinds correctly installed. Of course COVID had an impact on time but it was one problem after another, wrong measurements, wrong Brackets,wrong way around, etc etc, and 5 visits from the installers to get it right. Never again.
Great sales service but incredibly disappointed from the sale onwards. I also now have issues with the quality - and I cannot get a reply to come back and sort it out. Very annoyed and would struggle to use them again. My mother who I originally recommended them to had an equally disappointing experience. So poor she asked for her money back.
Have used Victory before for blinds and didn't hesitate to use them again for curtains. Had several companies quote, but Victory's Rod was brilliant - did everything COVID safely, gave us a perfect rundown of what the job would look like and suggested the best fabric and fittings. He was totally right, has changed the entire room. Installation was fast and efficient too, with no mess. Will now use Victory for bedrooms. Highly recommended
Curtains arrived on time and are good quality. Happy with them. Only negative was that we expected tie back straps similar to what our old curtains had. Looking back, they were not on the contract so we missed it when signing. Disappointed that the salesman didn't ask if we wanted them when doing the quote.
Product quality and install v. good.Living up to an advertised discount of 20% as per the Seniors Card book in SA was meet with excuses as why the product would not be discounted to this advertised amount.Under the reasoning that it had been applied already in the original quote.The original quote had zero mention of this supposed discount as at no time was a seniors card mentioned or requested to be taken into consideration during initial quote.A revised quote later after I requested the 20% be now applied suddenly had these extra discounted items added.Will not utilise Victory Blinds again and have advised of this to others.
