I ordered a bag in March and was expecting it to come with an authenticity certificate — unfortunately, it didn’t. The certificate (after claiming for it) arrived about three weeks later and appeared to be made by them, which didn’t seem very reliable. What’s more concerning is that the same bag I ordered has now been re-listed on their site with the same serial number. How is that even possible? I thought serial numbers were supposed to be unique.....
I ordered a Vintage Danube bag from Vintage on Friday. The pictures made the bag look decent—no visible flaws. However, when I received it, the bag was covered in dust and dirt, reeked of mold and basement odor, and, on top of that, the zipper did not work. The condition was absolutely unacceptable.I contacted their customer service, only to be told that they don’t have time to clean bags, which is why they sell them "so cheaply." I wanted to return the bag and reached out to the European Consumer Centre, which confirmed that the company must offer me a free return. But that’s not happening. They insist that I must send the bag back at my own expense. I now have to escalate this case further with the European Consumer Centre.I have previously ordered a bag from them, and it was okay. But something has clearly changed—their customer service is now incredibly rude and unprofessional, and on top of that, they shamelessly send out bags that are completely unusable. The first thing I had to do after opening the box was clean the bag with baby wipes just to be able to touch it. The smell upon opening the package was overwhelming—mold, basement, completely unpleasant. All the metal parts were filthy, and worst of all, the zipper was completely broken—so dirty and old that it was mechanically damaged. It is outrageous that they sell such low-quality items. A bag like this would cost around €100 on eBay Japan, but I paid well over €320 for it.I am still waiting for them to provide me with a free return label, but it seems that won’t happen, which means the European Consumer Centre will now have to fight this battle for me.They take no responsibility for the products they sell, and it is absolutely clear that they must cover the return costs when the item is completely defective—broken, dusty, and moldy. They offer a 14-day return policy, but the customer should not have to pay for the return when the product is truly faulty. This is absolutely unbelievable business practice.I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this company. You won’t get quality bags, and you won’t get decent service either. Beware!
I ordered a bag that arrived with a completely broken strap. I contacted customer service and asked them to replace the strap and send me the tracking number. They said the replacement strap was sent as a letter without a tracking number. I still haven't received anything and have been waiting for over a month. I am left with a broken bag. The customer service is terrible. Why don't they just send a replacement strap by mail with a tracking number? I'm being held up the whole time. The bag was a birthday present. I advise people not to order from there. It's just frustrating.
