The stylistz are in a hurry

The stylistz are in a hurry. They must get paid by the amount of clients they do. For the amount of money you pay you would expect their full attention but they pass you onto someone else to finish off the blow wave. They should also offer loyalty rewards. Te Atatu Peninsula Vivo

Review for ViVo (The Boundary)

Review for ViVo (The Boundary) – Henderson, Auckland NZI had an appointment yesterday at 1:30pm, which was booked over the phone through ViVo’s customer service team. I had mentioned during the call that although the booking was made for full highlights, I wasn’t completely sure if I wanted that service, as I was considering a different colour but I expected to discuss that properly with the stylist during the appointment.I arrived early at 1pm to find parking and was happy to wait, even though the stylist was around 7 minutes late, I had no issue with that as I was genuinely excited to get my hair done. The manager was lovely, offered me a coffee, and asked me to wait until the stylist was ready. However, once the stylist came over, things quickly changed. She spent at least 15 minutes assessing my hair and then gave me multiple reasons why she couldn’t do the service. She said there wouldn’t be enough time, and strongly discouraged me from doing the style I was interested in. She continued suggesting alternatives or rebooking for a different day even though I clearly explained that afternoons or weekends are best for me as I work full time. She also tested a strand of my hair and eventually told me the only available appointment was on the 3rd of August. I ended up accepting the booking out of frustration, but I left feeling really disappointed. I told her I just wanted to do something with my hair that day.I’ve been to ViVo before with a different stylist and had a great experience, but this visit felt disorganised and like my time wasn’t respected. It’s frustrating to go in with excitement and leave feeling let down especially after making the booking in advance. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.Later that afternoon, I visited another salon, and they were able to achieve exactly the look I was after.

I would like to give compliment to Nozomi.

I would like to give compliment to Nozomi from Vivo Hair Salon in Frankton, Queenstown who offer good and fast services when I did my colour hair yesterday. She is kind, polite and always smiling. Her service is highly recommended and keep up the good service. Thank you.

I booked my cousin for a treatment at…

I booked my cousin for a treatment at Tauranga Vivo (Bayfair) My cousin had a lot of built up dandruff and decided to get a scalp treatment. Hair dresser left the scalp treatment on her head for 30mins and didn’t check on her to see if she was ok, her head was burning and itching but because it’s her FIRST time getting her hair done she thought it was the normal.I noticed that when other clients came in to wait, the lady doing my cousins hair started to rush.My cousins hair was straightened but it was still poofy, the lady did not take her time.My cousin left the salon with no changed feelings, she put her hoodie over her head when we left and just wanted to go home so I could re straighten her hairWhen we got home I decided to straighten her hair again and the results were better than the salon, there was abit of poofiness but not as MUCH as when the professional did.P.s I really felt for my cousin as she comes from a low income household where her parents never taught her how to properly wash hair or even have proper products to shampoo & condition. I booked this appointment for her to make her feel beautiful, and for the experience as getting ur hair done makes you feel beautiful. Not everyone who gets their hair done is because there’s an event coming up or they have the money for it, please keep in mind. And to check on ur clients, take ur time with ur clients.

Just walked out of Vivo Hair & Beauty

Just walked out of Vivo Hair & Beauty - New Zealand. They lured me in with a $200 full head highlights deal and the next thing I know it’s $460!! It’s not the price, it’s the old “bait n switch” tactics. Poor form!

** Lambton Quay Salon **

** Lambton Quay Salon **I'm a long-time Vivo Hair customer, attending at least four times a year. Recently attended for a standard wash & cut, told that the products had changed (from Goldwell to Wella). After 7 washes, the dye still hasn't washed out (as it should) and is still staining pillowcases etc. I emailed Vivo to ask how much longer until the dye settles. Their resolution, in a fragmented and poorly phrased response, basically told me to go back to the Salon for "a free consultation with our Stylists." The same Stylist who lied about the details on my records? The same Stylist who was indifferent about the product change concerns? The same Stylist who couldn't even be bothered straightening my hair? Not going back. They've lost a loyal customer.

Would not recommend Vivo - Head Office terrible

After going to lovely stylist at Vivo for several years, whilst she was on holiday I tried another stylist who initially was great. However I must have struck her on a bad day ( and / or it was her last day working for them) The cut was not great. When I spoke to Vivo staff they suggested I contact the area manger to discuss. Despite several attempts at leaving messages and one staff member passing on my details etc he never got back to me. Not happy with the lack of customer service, but not wanting to leave my stylist who was the kindest sweetest girl I stayed on with Vivo until I knew she was leaving them as well…. making my decision to leave Vivo easy! If you’re looking for a company that values their clients,Vivo is not the place. Very very happy with my new stylist.
