Absolute worst customer service from

Absolute worst customer service fromVodien. I was migrated over fromQuadra hosting and my site has not been functioning properly for over a month. I’ve spent countless amounts of time trying to get them to fix it but I hear a lot of excuses and nothing resolved. Too much back and forth and no results. They over charged me, and to try and get that money returned to me was also a headache. The time it took to get refunded was totally unacceptable. Every person on customer service has given extremely poor service. Our business has suffered and we have lost many customers. We are currently moving our site to an AUSTRALIAN hosting service, ventraIP, they have already given excellent customer service!

one star is way too many

If you want nothing else but issues, no access to your service, absolutely incompetent company, then sign up with Vodien (which is crazydomains). If you love to wait weeks left without service, and annoying overseas support who can only repeat scripts, sign up. Otherwise, stay away for life! This is my second review on this page, I do have the right to leave several reviews, as we have several accounts (unfortunately) with this company. I will make sure I leave my review on all other websites where possible. I will not spare time to do this, I can assure Vodien. I will also ask our staff members (70+) to express their opinions on review sites.

STAY AWAY!

Our company has 25 shops, we rely on our VPS. Earlier this year we were force migrated from the best hosting provider *Quadra Hosting" to the worst. Keep in mind, Vodien, (Dreapscapes) is owned by Crazydomains. What they do, they acquire smaller hosting services, so they can get new customers. Anyway, our VPS has been down for 2 DAYS! Our account is well overpaid, customer support is overseas, essentially no help. Our 25 shops cant operate, Vodien don't care at all. I will spend the time and give as many reviews as I can possibly can to let people know to stay away from this super dodgy service.!

A VPS horror story

NetLogistics used to be a great provider. When they sold their business and clients to Vodien, things started going downhill. How bad could it get? Read on…One evening, in November last year, my VPS went down. Not good, but this is why we pay for 24/7 support, right? I emailed support and they restarted the server for me. But within hours, it was down again. This time, my emails went unanswered. I emailed at 9.31 pm. No reply. I emailed again at 10.20, and again at 11.02. Eventually, I went to bed. Early the next morning, the server was still down, with not a single reply to my increasingly desperate support requests. I phoned them and got through to a non-technical 'support' person in Singapore who made some vague references to escalating my ticket, etc, but when I pressed them it became very clear to me that there were no qualified technicians even looking at my ticket. Eventually I was told that someone who could help would be coming into work in several hours! Finally, at 9.14 am AEST, an actual support person came in and rebooted the server.By this time I had already decided enough was enough—it was time to find a new provider. But I wrote to Vodien Accounts anyway, requesting a waiver of that month’s VPS hosting fee, since they failed to meet their service guarantees. I pointed out to them that the NetLogistics website still advertises 'True 24/7 Live Support' and that my server had been down for over 15 hours while no one was assigned to my ticket. Here's how they responded:"Thank you for contacting Email Support. I hope your day is wonderful. My sincere apologies for all the troubles this may have caused. … [yada, yada]As for the full waiver request, we are not obliged to provide refunds or account credit for services rendered if we have been unable to fully resolve or answer the request, issue or problem that was the subject of your advanced support application. We take no responsibility for any mistakes in application either on the advice of our staff or your sole decision; and you are liable for the costs we incur (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) if you make any claim in connection with or arising from services.Your business means a lot to us. [yada, yada]"Was I talking with two people, or perhaps one person with a serious case of split personality disorder? After a purportedly 'sincere' apology, they proceeded to try and bully me into submission with a barely veiled legal threat should I take things any further! Unbelievable. So there's a little taste of what you can expect with Vodien. They simply don't take their own support claims seriously, nor do they understand good customer service.I don't imagine any Net Logistics support people would be reading this, but if you are, a sincere thank you for all your help over the years. I do not blame you for this. But it’s clear to me that NL (under Vodien) is not what it once was, and sadly, it reflects poorly on everyone to be associated with a company that treats its customers so poorly. Something to think about perhaps.Update: Within an hour of writing this review, Vodien requested more information (i.e. my personal details) via Trustpilot to 'help them write a more useful reply'. If only they were so quick to assign technical staff to emergency support tickets! To Vodien: I'm not wanting any personal communication from you—the opportunity for that is long past. If you want to know who I am, I've given you plenty of clues. Here's another one… On 3 June I wrote this email to abuse at Dreamscape Networks, your parent company: 'We just started receiving Google DKIM reports with failed SPF warnings on our domain. The mail was sent from IP address 202.146.214.1XX which is not used by us. A reverse lookup shows that this IP address belongs to Dreamscape Networks/Vodien/NetLogistics. Can you please investigate.' Aside from the automated reply, I never heard back.

1 star is 1 too many

Vodien is by far the worst web hosting service in Australia. My websites (Windows and Unix) were migrated when Vodien purchased Quadra Hosting and I spent 3 months in constant contact with their support team trying to get things to work. Vodien does not understand customer service - if you're looking for a reliable, supportive and affordable web host, steer well clear of Vodien (and their related entities like Crazy Domains).

Poor migration

We had our business hosted with Quadra hosting which got bought and migrated to Vodien and the process was managed terribly. They sent emails saying it was happening which was fine, but when I asked for more details I was given completely different information from different customer service representatives and just could not get a straight answer.Ultimately the actual migration of the website was fine, but all of the emails stopped working and IMAP folders were not subscribed to and there was very little information available on what to do.Later on the domain expired, which had been set to auto-renew with Quadra hosting, but this didn't transfer so the down went the business website. Later again the SSL certificates stopped working which was apparently Quadra hosting's fault as their certificates expired. And we were supposed to know this how? A single email detailing the different things we would need to do as part of the migration could have meant that the website did not go down unnecessarily or get blocked, but apparently Vodien could not foresee these problems occurring or let us know.We will be moving providers.

Voiden bought Quadra Hosting, Worst move ever

Voiden bought out Quadra Hosting, and when migrating brought over a domain not belonging to me, claimed it was my main domain (it not mine and was expired), asked me to pay for the expired domain before they would restore services. When I asked them to fix it, the support team thought it was funny to muck me around for several days writing stupid comments back and forth, doing nothing, while I had no services. I ended up taking all my business elsewhere. Absolustely disgusted. Worst hosting company ever. To top it off, Voiden after posting this review tried to deny I was a customer to have it deleted, knowing full well there is a 10 year trail of documents, with numerous emails back and forth over the last few days, which I can provide as evidence. Update: I did however resolve the matter by contacting the CEO, who was very professional, leaving the door open if every I wish to return. Update 2 - 24/8/2020: Whoever Von D is, their assertions are false and misleading. My websites were migrated to Vodien on 23 June 2020, and Vodien admitted problems with migration from Quadra. My complaint related to the Vodien service people, not Quadra. Don't lie after the event. I can provide all the correspodence, migration confirmation, logins, screen captures on your servers. You just went back to one star.

I would never recommend this hosting…

I would never recommend this hosting provider. We were forced into it because another company was bought out by them. They have connections with Crazy Domains. They appear to love doing things on the cheap. If you want to spend a lot of time with Level 1- support, repeating your self over and over, then be my guest, use their services.Just too much to get into in this one review, there is so much that has gone wrong and wasted so much time. The best one -- the "Migration Team".... they moved all websites and apps, database, etc. Then switched the DNS while we were working, during normal business hours. :-o We ended up with fresh data in 2 separate databases!! :-(
