Review Time
After Vodien initiated a migration on the 11th of October, 2023, our website is down. It took multiple emails, live chat, and 7 days to bring the website alive, but some files are missing. I have emailed CS many times and called, but I have to repeat the problems every time. Until today 14th of November 2023 the missing files have not been restored. We run a publication, so it is a huge deal if the authors cannot see their publication with us. The CS are friendly, but they cannot solve our problem. Could Vodien please be more serious in resolving this issue?
I've been with Vodien for more than 15 years. Back then, it was superb. Great customer service, quick support response and support team is always going all out to provide solutions.Since it was acquired by Dreamscape and then Dreamscape acquired by Web.com, service level has gone down tremendously.We have several managed VPSs and their uptimes are never at their promised SLA. Sometimes sites go down for 15-30mins, sometimes hours. When we contact support, they will route to "VPS TEAM" and response is 6-12 hours later, sometimes 1-2 days later. Once they replied us 5 days later. By then the VPSs are back up and running and they will say there's nothing wrong with the VPS.Recently, with any server issues, their standard canned response is "Check with your developers" and we ARE the developers. They constantly shift the blame to "developers".Use at your own risk - they aren't the Vodien from yesteryears.
After successfully setting up my email account in cPanel the account failed to receive and send emails. Contact Vodien support online chat. Carl Canada answered to help me to solve the issues. He was patient and take time to provide me with help to set the DNS. :)
