Review Time
My company has 3 domain with Vodien now. One of them was transfered from Godaddy because we wanted to have them with one provider. BIG MISTAKE. We lost all access to our emails 10 days ago and have been trying to get service to rectify this for the last 7 days.The initial 4 days we were told the problem was with Godaddy and after chasing for answers with Vodien, they then admitted the Domain was already successfully transferred to them.We have spent the last 3 days trying to get any sorts of response from them to get our entire company email access back and there has been no response on emails with solutions except for a very patronising email apologising and telling us they appreciate our business.Calls to the hotline remains unresponded to. Emails requesting for service call back have been ignored.We will proceed to transfer all 3 domains to Godaddy once we sort this out.DO NOT use Vodien for any corporate domain services. Godaddy service is much more competent, reliable and responsive.
After I had joined up, I discovered Vodiens email servers were blacklisted due to excessive spam emails being sent from their/my shared IP address.Help desk (not) made out it was my problem until my fourth complaint managed to get them to look into and finally fix it. I had already lost business being unable to send email as many of my clients mail servers had blocked Vodien. 30 day money back refund took 3 months to process after countless email, chat and sales department contacts. They even closed the support ticket in the hope I would go away. All talk, no action.This is a brief summary of the events but I have learnt my lesson and am happy to say I went with a reputable Australian hosting provider with excellent results. Stay well clear of Vodien products!
It is a smooth sailing from buying a domain and getting hosting plan and services on their website. Unfortunately, the sales, tech support, and account-related matters, who can be reached at 69147888, require significant improvement. Six of the ten individuals we contacted displayed arrogance and a lack of active listening skills. While they were proficient at reading from a script, they claim that they are were unable to transfer calls to other support agents and showed no willingness to arrange for their manager to call back. We recently subscribed to their services in April of this year and made an upfront payment for their services. However, in June, we decided to switch to another service provider.
Under our previous plan we have problems with the emails & website so the sales staff(Maria) recommended for us to upgrade our plan. After payment done for the upgraded new plan. After using the system for about 1 week we start to encounter problems with our emails. After trying to contacting Maria, can never find her again. Final speak to the technical support manage to get the system working but still migration still pending. We are told that we need to do the migration from existing to the new plan ourselves. Then when we encounter problems, we try to contact the sales staff again. She is always not at her desk or busy. We leave message & contact number for her call us back but never receive any call back or response. Till date still no call or reply what are we suppose to do.
I was sent an email asking for more information about the company that owns my domain name registrations THAT WENT TO MY SPAM FOLDER. Because I did not see and reply to this email (IN MY SPAM FOLDER) my website was taken down by Vodien. I have spent hours on the phone and hours on webchat, I was promised call backs "soon". I asked if "soon" meant "today" and I was assured that yes it did. I have just been told that the previous representative was wrong, and a call back would not be possible for another 36 hours. I was told the previous consultant will be "properly calibrated" for giving me the false hope of a call back today.Edit: My issue got resolved (The Registry Compliance Team were contacted by customer support on a Saturday, and they reviewed my emails and lifted the suspension of my domain so that my website was able to get back online). But this only happened after I was forced to continually call back Vodien customer service repeatedly and plead for help after being repeatedly told that the team was not going to review my situation until Monday. If a domain register is going to suspend my domain then I expect more than two emails that go to my spam, and I expect them to be ready and able to reply immediately to my first request about why my website was down. It shouldn't take 30 hours and dozens of phone calls to discover the problem and it shouldn't take me sending screenshots of one-star reviews I've written to get customer service to stop saying "I wish I could help" and actually get someone to help. Review upped from 1 star to 2 star because someone from the Registry Compliance team spent 2 minutes on a Saturday fixing my problem (after I spent hours on the phone and webchat with customer service).
Daily Backup Subscription Page (Acronis in Cpanel) is not working, showing an error.Before that issue, sometimes the backup went disappeared automatically.Need to wait a long time to fix it. So, back up your website manually.You trust the backup and you didn't back up your website, suddenly the website is down or experiences a malware attack or something, and if the daily backup is not available, you got a headache.I have created tickets (6 or 7 times) about that issue.I don't get any response. So, I talked to the live chat agent to create tickets. The agent replied that he will create it, but till now, no response to my email. Seems like the company experiencing technical errors with backup or shortage of manpower or a shortage of competent staff.Although I didn't receive a response for my tickets, I do receive advertisement emails from Vodien.
all my websites where hacked and taken down. No files their. Then the automatic backups that should have been happening, didn't. shocking. So no way to retrieve. I complained and was just sent automatic emails from Vodien we are working on it. 5 days later what the hell.
