The team and products @ VOLTA CHARGER are GREAT! I am a backer of the Volta-Max cable launch and have been a customer prior to that. Their magnetic cables are awesome and save on device port wear and tear! Launching a new product can be challenging and the team @ VOLTA CHARGER kept customers like myself, "in the loop" during the entire process. VOLTA CHARGER's customer care team is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and fair. The entire company consistently maintains their focus on the customer.
The creator wasn't completely honest when offering 60% off to potential backers with an add showing $300 crossed out and $125 as the special price but after the campaign was over he continued to sell at $125 or close to it. It's a great product works perfectly great quality case. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
Trustpilot limits the space for reviews, so I must redo this to make it fit within the constraints.TL;DR:Volta Charger cares for their customers more than almost any other company I've interacted with. I have never experienced a company who from the top on down values customer satisfaction 100%. Lots of companies promise this, but Volta Charger delivers.The Story in Brief:I participated in the Kickstarter for the Volta MAX. I ordered 3 black MAX cables, 2 extension cables, 2 tip cases, and some extra tips. I received my order rather quickly despite the issues, but received 2 red cables and 1 black. I reached out for a swap, and was kindly asked to wait for months on end as they took care of everyone who had not yet received their products first. Eventually I received my replacement free of charge (even letting me keep the original red I wished to exchange), but after waiting a week or so to try it out I discovered the cable was catastrophically defective on first use.Upset, I updated my review here on Trust Pilot and wrote off Volta Charger. However, the CEO himself saw my review and would not stand for such a failure. He personally reached out to me directly offering a solution. I explained in detail what happened, and he validated that the particular cable I received is not at all the quality Volta Charger expects of their products, and he immediately shipped me a replacement cable (one of the new TPU Blue cables, giving me 2 now as I had already purchased 1 for my car).The Verdict:I feel bad about updating my review from 5/5 to 1/5 in my frustration. However, Volta would not stand for this, so with humble satisfaction I shall update my review to again reflect the quality of service and product that Volta Charger provides. Through thick and thin, if you can stick with them and be patient and kind, they will gladly pay you back ten fold. I personally do not believe you will regret any purchases you make with Volta.
Like many others, i have found that their "Lifetime warranty" doesn't last very long. Their cables work fine but the tips breaks easily.The only thing they offered was a discount to buy some new cables and tips. HMMReply to your answer:You know that many people have had bad experiences with your tips breaking easily, why don't you keep them in stock then, is it because you think there's not that much money in doing that, i think the only thing you get out of doing what you're doing now is losing customers.And you should write - Limited Lifetime Warranty - so it matches reality.
While the Volta Max offers decent performance, the overall user experience is held back by its excessive bulk and weight. It’s not easy to carry around or fit neatly into a bag, which limits its portability. A slimmer, lighter design would make it much more practical for everyday use especially during travelling. Additionally, the magnetic clip cable feels fragile and doesn’t hold up well with frequent use.
