Review Time
I bought a Watchdives WD1863 a few weeks back, and it's been one of my most-worn watches. Finish, build and quality are all exemplary. Way higher quality than any piece at these prices should be. If you're not aware of Watchdives' business practises, you need to acquaint yourself...They LISTEN to their clients and potential clients' feedback, and make changes to their models based on those requests. I've not heard of another watch maker which does so, or many companies at all. It's rare these days, and should be noted when looking for a watch. I decided I wanted the on-the-fly clasp for my WD1863, so I ordered one directly from their website five days ago. This morning it turned up at my door. Five days from China to the UK. Even some UK-based companies can't deliver things that fast! Quality is perfect, fitting very easy and they even sent tools and extra pins with it. Absolutely first class, I wish that all watch makers were like this - it would have made a 40+ hobby a lot easier!
Purchased WD6610 w/Miyota 9015. It's a good watch and I'm more than happy with it. The problem is that the adjustable clasp is incredibly frustrating and difficult to use. While it can be done it takes several tries and a sore thumb pressing on the adjustment button to accomplish it. Even after placing a little silicone grease on the ratchet teeth the problem exists. It appears the problem is with the spring-loaded button.
All of my orders went without problem except one where the watch had a minor "flaw". For what it's worth, I received my watch with minor flaw, sent an email and in a very short period of time replacement part was on the way and you provided me with a tracking number without any hassle and back and forth. Great CS! This is truly what you would expect from any single company. I'll absolutely buy again.
I have made multiple purchases there and what I can say price Quality is simply one of the best watches aside of their own brand they sell others that are amazing bang for buck and customer support is amazing I had an accident with my bezel on one of my watches and even though it was my fault they were able to send me the part I needed and only paid for shipping.
The delivery went smoothly and the watch looks good.Unfortunately, the watch developed a deviation of 30s/day within the first month, which increased to 2 minutes per day after 3 months.Watchdives does not consider itself obliged to take action here. You should go to a watchmaker yourself for fine adjustment. However, they did not want to accept the prices quoted here.The solution is for me to send the watch to China at my own expense.For me, this is absolutely unacceptable business practice and does not comply with the law.Ergo: be careful. Firstly, a new watch should not behave like this. Secondly, you only recognize bad service when you need it.
