UPDATE (Feb 2025):I have been contacted by a Watchdives customer support representative. They have been very polite and asked how they can fix the issues. I shared some suggestions - some simpler and other ones more difficult to implement. Since then I noticed that they actually improved the website. For example, for many watches, they clearly list which countries they ship to. They mentioned that they will improve some other aspects as well.Due to the fact that they were willing to reach out and resolve the issue AND actually listened, I am changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. If they improve more things, I can see myself trying to purchase again and eventually giving them even more stars.THE ORIGINAL REVIEW:Unfortunately, the page is useless, because I cannot make any order. They claim that they ship to Sweden, but the system complains that my Swedish address is incorrect. I even tried to have it shipped to the literal center of the capitol, Stockholm - practically the most populated area in the whole country. The system claims that it's incorrect. They don't say WHAT EXACTLY is incorrect about it. Just this generic message.In addition to that, if I select Paypal as the payment option, it reserves the money (my card is charged) and only AFTER THAT it tells me that my address is incorrect. When I asked about it, they said that there is no order. Sure, there is no completed order. But there is a started/unfinished order. Don't you have logs about that? How can you not see that you reserved money via Paypal? I didn't do that. You did. How about taking responsibility for that? Instead, the answer was that I should contact Paypal myself. Basically, it's not their business, I need to deal with it myself. Well, thanks for nothing.After that communication they did not respond to any other messages I sent.I saw a lot of positive reviews, including here. That's why I wanted to try them. But my experience was very frustrating.
Quality of the clasp is poor. Very loose tolerance at the screws so it feels a little insecure and requires a "knack" to secure it properly. The watches I have had before have been great, especially considering the price. I have 7 or 8 of them from memory. I have overall been happy with watchdives as the delivery and quality is generally good. Unfortunate the the new "on the fly" clasp seems to have sloppy qc. UPDATE However, after my initial disappointment, the customer service team contacted me and were very professional they offered a complete refund immediately and responded quickly to my concerns. As I said above I have bought several (9 as i have now counted) of their watches and have been extremely pleased with the quality and have never had cause to complain so it is pleasing that when there is an issue, however unlikely, they took action a remedied it immediately. Overall happy despite the negative start to this review.
