After placing my order, I never received a physical book, nor did I ever receive a digital copy of the book. Despite this, support later claimed that “digital goods were delivered,” which is simply not true.

The only email I received after purchase was an automated message about the Welcome Baby app, including login instructions. There was no email, link, or download provided for a digital book at any point. The app subscription was later canceled by Welcome Baby themselves, further contradicting their claim that digital goods were delivered.
Additionally, Welcome Baby advertises the book as a hardcover, yet after purchase I was told all books are paperback by default and that hardcover is an upgrade handled after checkout. This makes no sense and should be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. If hardcover exists, it should be an option during checkout—not revealed later.

The checkout experience is confusing and misleading:
The book is presented as the paid product
The app and ebook are shown as free
There is no clear indication that a customer is not purchasing the physical book
Post-purchase, customers are told they must pay more to receive what they reasonably believed they already bought

Despite no physical book shipped, no digital book delivered, and a canceled app subscription, support has refused to issue a full refund and instead offered only a partial refund based on products that were never actually provided.

This feels like a combination of poor UX, misleading advertising, and unacceptable customer service. I would strongly caution other parents to think twice before ordering.

I bought the book which was already very overpriced given the quality. They advertise it as hardcover but you end up knowing the price is for softcover and you have to pay double the money for hardcover book.

At the time of purchase I saw options of welcome baby app online (no where it was mentioned that it was an added $$ on top and not free application that comes with the book) and also 'Walking Yoga app' subscription for $47 I was very careful about unticking the boxes but I was still subscribed to the yoga app. I quickly emailed them to get it cancelled and got a confirmation email saying it was cancelled.


However they charged me the amount next month saying it is for the welcome baby app online. AGAIN they charged me $47 which matched the amount of walking yoga app.
I emailed them to get it cancelled and to process refund but they denied saying it was for the online app (which I never signed up and would never if they specified $47 per month)
I believe they are a total fraudulent company please refrain from giving them your card details.

Do not buy this book. The book itself is good, but only 2 pages are customized. $79 is ridiculous for 2 custom pages. Plus, they automatically enroll you in their app, at a premium price of $31/month, and its very difficult to cancel and they issue no refunds.

The suggested extra items after making a selection seem somewhat unnecessary. The only exception was the baby planners; otherwise, it was quite frustrating not to proceed directly to my cart for checkout.

Fraudulent practices!

The positive reviews here seem to be from invited reviewers rather than genuine customers. This company misleads people by promoting a book that they will never deliver. The advertisement for the Welcome Baby book only shows a hardcover version, with every image depicting a sturdy hardcover book. There’s no mention of a paperback option. Therefore, when a customer pays USD79.99, they expect the hardcover book shown. The digital ebook and subscription are presented as free gifts, regardless of whether you want them. However, after payment, there’s suddenly a pop-up asking for an extra USD24.99 for the hardcover book, which is misleading as this wasn’t disclosed earlier. I didn’t agree to this extra charge, thinking I had already paid for the hardcover version with my USD79.99. At no point in the ordering process was there a place to enter a shipping address, making it impossible for them to send any physical items. I reached out to customer support to cancel my order if it didn’t include the hardcover book. They responded that I could pay the extra fee for the hardcover version. When I expressed my unwillingness to pay for misleading advertising, they informed me that a refund wasn’t possible since I purchased digital goods. This feels fraudulent, as those digital goods were presented as free gifts with no option to decline. I strongly advise against engaging with this company, as you will not receive what you expect!

Avoid the baby book! It's a scam!

I found the payment process extremely confusing. Numerous ads and add-ons appeared during checkout, making it hard to navigate. In my attempt to skip these offers, I unintentionally purchased both the app and a hard copy of the book—neither of which I wanted. I reached out to customer service immediately to explain the mistake, but their response took a while. Once they replied, they stated that since I accepted the terms and conditions at checkout, they wouldn’t issue a refund. Additionally, the book was disappointing; it only covers the first three months and lacks value. I ended up spending $133, which felt like a total waste. Overall, this was a negative experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company due to the confusing checkout process, inflexible refund policy, and underwhelming product.
