I bought a bed from WeMakeBeds in September. The bed arrived fine at first, but I quickly realised it was impossible to lift for storage. I contacted the company immediately and was told they had forgotten to include the gas lifts and that they would send them out.
Months passed with no delivery. In December I contacted them again and was told the parts had been sent and that shipping to Ireland from the UK could take time but nothing ever arrived. I waited again into January, and after seeing they had created a new Instagram account, I asked for the bed to be collected and for a refund because the bed is unusable without the proper parts.
Since then, they have ignored my messages and repeatedly claimed the parts were sent, but I have still received nothing. Very disappointing customer service and poor communication. I’m left with an expensive bed that doesn’t work as advertised.

The bed I ordered wasn’t cheap with all the upgrades it was £923 without mattress. The bed looks nice, but the screws stick out on the fixing plates so it don’t but together tight on corners, and the upgrade I paid for increasing the bed height to 55cm hasn’t happened they sent the standard 50cm, and they won’t answer any of my calls, emails, or messages. Not a good company for after sales customer service, just need a refund for the upgrade I paid for or new bed frame, but no response from them. Look like scammers be aware.
First the positive. The bed is mostly as I ordered, seems solid and I’m happy.Now the negative - communication is dire. I emailed a few times asking about ETA for delivery and got no acknowledgment. I got a text the day before to tell me delivery would be the next day! This short notice is Not ideal when you need to be home to take delivery. I paid extra to have the tall headboard split. It wasn’t. When I called I managed to get someone on the 4th go and was told they would collect Saturday and deliver a new one Wednesday. Waited in all day Saturday, called and texted and no one came and no one acknowledged me. Tuesday I get a text they will deliver the new headboard tomorrow. Overall - I wouldn’t use again because of the lack of customer service. I’ve had to go to PayPal to claim back the extra I paid to have the headboard split - this should have been refunded by the company voluntarily as they made the mistake.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They delivered a faulty headboard in July 2025, it is now January 2026 and they still have not replaced it and are ignoring all comms. Not a trustworthy or even legal company as they are not adhering to consumer rights.
I looked at alot of bed companies, and kept coming back to wemakebeds. I called them a couple of times, trying to work out which style would work for me. I was looking at getting a very wide headboard and wanted to know how to work out the plug socket, and they explained how they can cut out the socket size. I chose something else. I am so happy with my customised king size bed, I also ordered the end of the bed blanket box. The quality is outstanding, the price was amazing and the whole experience was 10/10. I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.
Nice bed and mostly sturdy however the divan ottoman just does not fit in the bed and the frame will not come together level with one another meaning they can’t be secured properly for when lifted etcThe bed comes with no instructions & some of the parts are self explanatory but not all.The company have poor communication which is unfortunate for me as the issue can not be resolved without a reply.If the issues that I’ve had hadn’t occurred this review would be an outstanding one.
