Explained to the employee about not receiving my 2025 coins and she could not have been more helpful reassuring me that a new set would be sent out as it was over a month ago that I was charged for the coin set and there was no notes or anything showing up on my ring doorbell within the last month showing a delivery for the said item.So looking forward to receiving my new coins but the only problem is that the limited edition number will be greater now as I was one of the first to order the 2025 commemorative coin collection.
So far this company has taken approximately £50 off me without my knowledge or consent. I bought a 50p piece for about £3 or so in December but without my knowledge or consent this company seems to have enrolled me into some hidden subscription and subsequently took two lots of money from my card (just under £29 each time) one in January while I was actually out of the country and one again in February. Both times sent me a coin I didn’t ask for and took the money in advance from my card. Now it looks like they want me to send it back in order to “qualify “for a refund. Under their terms I would be too late to send the one back they sent in January. This type of practice is illegal and is called “INERT SELLING “. I strongly advise you to avoid using this company. Definition of Inert Selling :Inert selling means sending products or services to someone without their explicit consent and then expecting them to pay for it, relying on the fact that most people will not take action to dispute the charge due to apathy or lack of awareness.Legality:This practice is generally considered illegal under consumer protection laws, as it violates the principle of informed consent required for a valid sale.Just tried to end “subscription” and delete my card details and they have refused saying I have “orders outstanding “ So it looks like they are going to continue to try to continue to take money from me. This is really dreadful.
I'd give 0 stars if I could! Be wary! I ordered a few coins of the 'free coins' just pay postage, that my partner wanted. Next thing I'm getting bills for coins I never even ordered and I'm signed up to a subscription service I never asked for! I contacted them and they said I'd definitely signed up for it, I hadn't. As least not willingly. Then asked me to return coins I didn't have for a refund.Of course I refused to pay, I never ordered anything! Now they're sending letters through a debt collection service. SCAMMERS! Disgusting considering they're supposed to be a government company.
I'd go lower, threatening with dent collectors. Trying to make me pay for things ove not ordered etc. When i did scape the money together to pay there with 1 week left to go before someone's knocking at my door. Its telling me I've paid but the moneys not coming out my account. Never again.
I was really worried about getting in touch. Due to unforseen circumstances I had got behind on a collection payment, and was getting myself in a state about calling. I needn't have worried at all, they were both sympathetic to my situation and very helpful in making a plan to enable me to sort my account out. And for both I am thankful
