Review Time
We initially booked a family trip in February 2025 through We Travel/WanderwithFaithh, with Faith Toure' as our travel agent. Our deposits were processed between February 7th and February 10th, 2025, and the final payment was made on June 20th. Despite reaching out to Faith multiple times for travel information, we only received sporadic responses. As our travel date approaches, we have started contacting her daily via calls, emails, and texts, but we still have not received any replies.On June 20th, after numerous attempts to reach someone, we finally connected via email with a young man named David from We Travel. He informed us that We Travel could not initiate a refund or connect us with another travel agent, as they primarily serve as the booking and payment platform for trip organizers. On June 25th, he recommended that we seek restitution through our financial institution.This response was baffling, especially since We Travel was the entity that processed our payments. At this point, we feel like we were scammed out of a total of $12,150 and that wire fraud is a possibility. No legitimate documentation has been provided by Faith Toure’ or We Travel.
Hiba Essahli from We Travel was just outstanding, very responsive at any time we needed her, she helped us to get back our access to our account that we couldn't do after many emails straight away after explaining the issue to her. Briefly Hiba is the best.
I am very disappointed with WE Travel. For over two months, I’ve been waiting for the correct booking links to be added to my website – something that should be simple, but has not been properly handled.Even more frustrating is the fact that I’ve been trying to access the funds that were already transferred to WE Travel, and for over a week now, I haven’t been able to receive them. Due to technical issues, I can’t even enter my bank details, and there seems to be no effective support to resolve this.Their communication has been unprofessional, and what they promise at the beginning simply doesn’t match reality. They show little understanding of how websites work and seem unwilling to manage issues responsibly. If you point something out, they often shift the blame back to you.Multiple contacts and attempts to find a solution have, unfortunately, not helped. I’m more than disappointed – I’m now truly concerned about everything that has happened over the past two and a half months. This platform has not delivered what was promised and has caused unnecessary stress.

His initiative in introducing Egypt Day Tours to other partners in Africa has opened new avenues for collaboration and growth, and we are truly appreciate his efforts.This initiative and willing to go beyond the scope of services / initial expected cooperation has really given me a strong belief that WeTravel is really about doing meaningful actions other partners and collaborators. Wetravel should be avoided as their payment procedures require users to not only pay "transfer fees" but also to use Wetravels exchange rates which are quite unreasonable compared to the rates used by banks. In a recent situation I had, wetravel wanted a fee of 41 Euros to make an international payment but their system also forced me to use their exchange rates which added more than 250 Euros to the cost compared to the exchange rate my bank would use.
I was trying to host a rest retreat through WeTravel and paid for subscription. During the verification process, wetravel sent us an email stating that they can not approve us as a user for their accounts due to their "guidelines". I believe there was some discriminatory issues involved.Response to WeTravel's response posted on 5/1: Unfortunately, everything they have "prohibited" does not apply to my business and only proves their discriminatory actions further. If an business cannot state why they are "denying" someone access to their platform, it continues to prove the point. They don't have transparent communications and business operations. BEWARE! Please do not do business with this company.
WeTravel Simplifying our Clients Booking and Lives. Previously we were using a homegrown system and spending way to much time managing payment links and questions about remaining payments. Implementing WeTravel and integrating with our website has saved us countless hours and let clients manage their payment information in a more secure way. It's great.
