Walters Kluwer is the worst company I have had ever to deal with! They are a SCAM! Stay Away! They have no customer service support and their products do not work! Stay Away from Walters Kluwer! And report them to the BBB if you had problems.
One of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I got a subscription, because I hired help and the help left without notice. I assumed the price of the subscription, because I had no choice. Even though I was a client for years they wouldn’t cancel it. However I told them right away, in March 2024, I didn’t want to renew it. The guy said he would make sure to cancel it. We are now 6 months later, I contact the agent in my file to confirm my renewal was cancelled. She was on vacation. One or two weeks later, I receive the invoice for the renewal. I then contact the emergency contact in my agent automated response and a Sophie Senecal keeps answering me I had to cancel 30 days before the renewal. She didn’t offer any help, just stuck to her 30 days policy and referred elsewhere, while 6 months is 6 times 30 days. I was plenty within the time range they ask for. Now I have to find the proof to defend myself against them, because the agent didn’t keep his promise to me 6 months ago and because the usual bad customer service at Wolters Kluwer keeps being their policy.And I got a new licence yesterday, but they charge me for the last four months while I didn't have the licence and my employee wasn't even working for me and being productive using that licence.... How can they do that? I will file a complaint and see where it leads, but this is unacceptable.
We hired this company to file Foreign Business Registration in multiple states. Our onboarding contact changed at the end of the process and two states were missed registering during the set-up. Unfortunately, it was not caught until the following year (2025) when I received a notice to file the Annual Report for a different state. I contacted CT aka Wolters Kluwer and asked why I was alerted to file the Annuals since our contract included this. To my surprise when asking about the other states, we have a total of 29, I was told they only show 3 states. After multiple customer service contacts, I was sent a list, and still states are missing. Customer Service is awful. There is no main point of contact for your account. It's random. Whoever may follow up from a call you place regarding your issue.
I have received multiple invoices for a service for which I have already paid. Just received another invoice yesterday. The company agrees that I should not be receiving this invoice but fails to correct the error. The contact phone given on the invoice is not in service. The customer service is a black hole.
Do not choose WK ! I repeat Do not choose WK! The platform is unorganized and almost unuseable! We switched from Thomson Reuters and regret it greatly. The sales pitch was untruthful. After you are "trained" getting help is sitting on hold for an hour to do a simple task. The trainers are no longer available to you immediately following training. I'm counting the days we can go back with TR.
Initially utilised CCH for accounts production software. This went fairly well. However, we were then sold CCH tax software with false promises. Make sure you get all sales promises in writing. Unless there is something very specific you need from this software there are better and cheaper products out there.
This company has the worst customer service. Despite emails, calls and submitting a web ticket, nobody can be bothered to get back to me. When I first subscribed they billed me for an extra month and basically bullied me into paying. This is not an ethical company.
I had an extremely negative experience with this company. I do not want to continue my subscription with them. I tried to contact them through multiple methods like telephone, email, their support portal, and a formal letter to notify them that I did not want to renew my subscription 2 months before the current session ended. However, they did not respond to me at all and continued to charge me for a new session.
The initial purchase of the online textbook did not include an access code to course point plus. After purchasing the exact same book again, the provided access code worked exactly one time. The help desk chat option does not work. The service ticket auto response tells you some nonsense about hight that average volume. This company is predatory and will redirect you to misleading web pages that make you think you need to purchase duplicate materials.
Ordered a book, received an error message, reordered the same book, received again the same error message, my card was charged two times but otherwise I have no order number, they have sent no confirmation, only an error message that also happened one year ago. Called two times their customer service, they said I should report the accident and wait for a reply and that they could not help. Called again another number, no answer. They email back asking for order related information, which I cannot provide because while my card was charged their website only provided an error and nothing else. Awful experience.
