Review Time
I have really found worth in the Shadow Work. It has a good basis that can lead to some very wonderful insights and growth. My only problem is the slowness that the program moves at. At first you are able to complete several lessons in a row, and the pace is wonderful. You are able to do additional work with journaling prompts and conscious awareness exercises. Then the brakes get put on.You are only allowed to do a single lesson a day, even when there is next to nothing to do. No suggested journaling, no new insights, just a sudden slow down. Now I understand that for some individuals, this slowing of the pace may be very much what is needed. But if an individual feels ready, and their psyche is screaming for more input and wants to explore and uncover more, this feels very much like a purposeful slowing of the information so as to eek out another subscription payment. If an individual asks for a greater pace of the lessons, allow for it somehow. Otherwise, they will become bored and jaded by the process and this much needed work will die on the vine instead of bearing the fruit of change and healing.
The content is initially quite helpful then veers off; emailed about it, no reply. But the REALLY annoying thing is the payment system; I signed up for one month only. About £12. Two months later I noticed them taking out £46 per month. With no clear way of cancelling. This is FRAUD. I contacted my bank and they refunded me but what the hell is this new system of advertising on IG then ripping off VULNERABLE customers. Absolutely appalling way of doing business. AVOID.
I paid £20.74, but since I never used the app after the first day, they've charged my card £46.19, which was still pending. I cancelled my subscription immediately and contacted the customer service to request a refund for the £46.19. They've replied to me, asking why I would like a refund. I responded to them the same way, stating that my reason was that I had never used their app. I only opened it to cancel the subscription and inquire about the money they had charged. They deducted £46.19 on 15th September.I've never received any follow-up emails, and no one has replied to my refund request. I started a new refund request and never received a reply to that either. This is unacceptable!Reply: Hi, I can't include my email address here. It's domcsi, and I'm with the mailbox provider by Google. What info do you require to find the transaction? I just logged into the app, and my subscription still shows ACTIVE! But it was cancelled on the 14th of September.Here's Peter D.s email about the cancellation:"Hey there,I hope you're doing well.
