Do not dare buy. I bought a one time only subscription. I was unable to download the app to my phone, my phone did not have the ability to download. I asked for 20.01 back and PayPal gave this back to me. What I did not do was sign up for a subscription specifically I knew this as I wanted to try out the app first unfortunately I could not use and now this month the company work with shadow fraudulently took 54.59 out of my account without consent. They or @paypal will not give me back my money. I never signed up or never set up and account. I will be logging with my back as fraudulent. Elma Mccarthy
UPDATE - I was told I would be refunded but it has not yet come through. The response below from Work With Shadow is misleading - the relevant part of the T&Cs (which they seem to be relying on for a lot a their responses) were not prominent when signing up. I would recommend everyone avoid this dodgy company, and shame on people like PayPal for supporting them if true. Wish I had looked for reviews first. Having an awful experience. They sucker you in with a supportive sounding mental health product - but the second I’d signed up, the next 5-6 pages were just attempts to upsell more and more products, and nothing about how to use the product I’d already paid for. Contact with these charlatans subsequently involves them “losing” responses, and just responding with reference to their terms and conditions which they state are compliant with “relevant laws” - but they fail to state what these are. Despite me repeatedly stating I want to cancel and want a refund, they have refused to acknowledge anything I’ve said to them - what law is that compliant with exactly? - not UK consumer law that’s for sure. Agree with another legitimate poster below that the fact they are not operating their finances through any established platform is telling - I’ve reported them to Instagram as being fraudulent. Obviously extremely low individuals running if they are making money scamming people over mental health. Awful.
Ive been using the programme since September. The content is brilliant. Easy to use and I like that you can only do 1 lesson per day.After about 2 months something went wrong with my password. I used the re-set password and was able to resume the programme from where I left off. I was nervous because of all the previous reviews about the functionality but fears proved unfounded.I have cancelled my subscription due to not being able to meet the ongoing costs. Cancelling was easy. I just cancelled through PayPal and also in the web app that was sent in a link when i first joined.The work with shaddow team could improve communication about terms and conditions and provide guidance to customers about how to cancel. That way they would get less negative reviews. The content of the programme is very good.
Keep well away from this company! You pay thinking its a one off payment of £13. Then the following month £46 leaves your account. There's no real way to contact them. And ignore all emails requesting a refund!!! Horrible company! Had a reply on here asking for my contact details to sort it. Heard nothing. Send loads of emails asking for a refund, nothing!
Absolute scam! I paid for a trial, had no confirmation of that trial period, no confirmation of what I had signed up for. Got charged £46, emailed to ask for a refund as there was no transparency around the subscription. No reply. Then they took another £46.... Absolutely horrific. All Facebook comments that are telling the truth, get deleted.I wish I'd seen this before I engaged with them. Preying on vulnerable people. I have still had nothing from them outlining the terms I supposedly signed up to, I may get charged again!I want to bring them down, I want them to report them, I want other users who have been scammed to help in doing this.THIS IS MY REPLY TO YOUR REPLY BELOW:MY ISSUE IS THAT YOU DO NOT SEND ANY INFORMATION ON WHAT YOU SIGN UP FOR, I HAD NO TERMS SENT TO ME, NO DETAILS OF WHAT PAYMENTS WOULD BE TAKEN AND WHEN, THIS IS NOT TRANSPARENT!
