Total scam! I didn’t even sign up and there is no app. I emailed them on June 24 to make it clear that this is not a service I want or need and to discontinue cancel ASAP. No one got back to me. It’s been 4 months and you are now deducting 3x the price from the first deduction. I’ve emailed again and told my card company to not allow payments.If this is not resolved by today and my money is not returned your up for a lawsuit from my lawyer in the next hours!
I signed up for introductory offer for $19 then one month later my PayPal was charged over $63. I never received an email stating that they were going to bill me that amount. If they did I would have canceled. I have contacted PayPal to dispute this charge. I have never had a company charge me without an email prior to the charge. It seems to be a pattern.Update: They have responded to me by email and canceled my subscription but will not refund my money. To add insult to injury they agreed to give me a 25% discount on another one of their products. What a joke.They deliberately do not send you an email stating that the trial period is up, then they charge you full price and then refuse to refund your money because you request was made more than 30 days from the initial purchase. Seems like a nice lucrative scam they are running.*****Paypal refunded my money. So my advice is to file a claim and fight the charges!
It's not at all clear when signing up - what the ongoing "Regular Phase" charges will be - perhaps these are burried in a T&C document somewhere - but ceratinly not indicated in the purchase experience. After the initial purchase in June - I have subsequently been charged $AUD 162.98 !!! for "Regular Phase" - despite the fact that I have not even accessed any of the so called shadowwork excerises. Now I'm trying to 1) cancel the subscription; and 2) request a refund, and the website claims me email address - that it used to send me confirmation of purchase emails in June - is not registered.Update: On 2nd October WorkWithShadow replied to my email,and offered to give a 25% refund, which I accepted. On 15th October WorkWithShadow and gave me a 25% refund on the most recent payment.The refund offered and made - was 25% - not 'full refund' they have decribed here.
Sadly they are like so many of these shysters that offer ‘services’ through Facebook then lure you in. All ok to start with despite no app to download. They operate through a portal so they can more easily take your money and run. They took an initial payment then you start the course, then after a month take another amount (3 times the first amount). Then all of a sudden access is denied to the portal and they stop answering emails. So now, all the money is lost and I’ve barely started the course. PayPal were no help either in filing a dispute. Shan’t be signing up for these apps and sites that claim to offer help, in the future.
Total scam. Paid for a workbook online for £16 then a month later £46 taken for my “subscription” that I never requested. And when I tried to cancel said subscription their website kept saying my email was not recognised so couldn’t unsubscribe EVEN THOUGH I NEVER DID. APPALLING.
