This is the worst company I ever dealt with in my entire life. Do not waste your time booking with this company. They have bad communicate. They are very very insinuative. My charter bus was paid in full 7 weeks in advance. They day before we were to be picked up, they emailed me and cancel our bus. The manager didn't even answer the phone when I called. So do not book with this company. They are a bunch of horrible people. Please book with a legitimate Charter company.
I booked GoGo Charters through CharterUp for a senior center trip from Brooklyn, NY to Yonkers & return over an 8-hour period. The trip was confirmed & paid in full. With less than 48 hours before the fully booked, 56-passenger trip was scheduled to leave, GoGo contacted us to say they had no driver & wouldn't honor their paid contract but they could find us another driver & bus for an additional $600. Such a bait-and-switch scam! We contacted USA Bus Charter, which found us a bus at short notice for a bit more than the original GoGo quote but at what was still a good price & less than the price GoGo tried to gouge us for. Use GoGo Charters at your peril or only if you like playing Russian Roulette - I'd give zero stars were it possible!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I booked 2 charter buses to usher my wedding guests to and from the hotel blocks and our reception venue. I booked roughly a year in advance and before making my deposit I spoke with a rep to express our estimated guest count, number of hotel pick up spots, and that the venue was a 10-15 minute drive away from each hotel. He told me for my guest count, 2 charter buses would be fine to run on loops in the time frame I suggested. Roughly a month after making my deposit, I provided the rep with a very detailed email of all the times and locations needed and asked if everything still looked like it would work in the timeframe we talked about. He confirmed everything was okay. Fast forward to a couple weeks before my wedding, I had sent 3 emails to the same rep to re-confirm details (we now had less guests and less hotel pick up locations). I finally got through to someone else. When the new rep reviewed everything she told me my timeline and number of buses I had was impossible and we either had to add a 3rd charter bus or start earlier/end later (aka some of my guests would arrive WAY too early and be stuck at the venue an hour past when the reception would end). After much frustration and back and forth I asked for the 3rd bus as I had no other option and I asked for it to be comped or discounted as this was not my fault and now an unforeseen expense (mind you this is all happening 2 days before my wedding). Come to find out there are no more buses available and even if there was one, they wouldn't comp it or discount it. Instead the rep kept offering to comp the extra hour on at the end of the night (the extra hour that we did not need because guests would be stuck waiting for an hour after the reception). In the end I had to scramble and eventually got in touch with a local company that only had a 20 person bus available and they agreed to run loops to get my extra guests to my wedding on time (which they were able to do). So I solved this unforeseen nightmare with the help of a much more professional company.So PLEASE avoid this unprofessional headache and DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!
We contracted GoGoCharters for a recent company event and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was told that I would receive the driver's contact info the day before the event but no one ever reached out. The morning of the event, I called and was finally given the name and number of our driver. When I called the driver, he was incredibly confused and told me he no longer worked for the company. I called GoGoCharters again and was told they would look into it and call me right back- I was never reached back out to. We then had to scramble to have our guests figure out another mode of transportation. When I requested a refund I was told that because a driver did end up showing up (after we had already made alternate plans due to their lack of communication) that we would not receive one. We wasted hundreds of dollars just to add chaos to our event.
