Marketdata is very good providing much needed data for a an affordable price. I believe there is still ongoing work with API's and bringing more data points on the way but it is definitely a great start and having OHLCV and OPRA data available at this price point is great. Keep up the good work. Their customer service is also impeccable, any request via tickets is answered within the hour.
The services offered are clear and well-defined, with excellent value for money. The online API documentation is detailed and very easy to understand; the endpoints perform well and the data is comprehensive. The support team responds promptly and responsibly. Highly recommended data service provider!
In general, I like this service a lot but there is a number of issues. There are duplicate days in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 that aren't trading days, so it makes it difficult to line up with Google Finance (which is what the extension is modeled after). There is also data that is wrong for 2008, 2009, and 2010 and has to be manually corrected.Overall they have been responsive to correct errors in the past, but these errors persist. If the data was more reliable, it would be 5 stars from me
Very unclear how to use. Instructions are horrible. But once it is set up, it works very well. The only downside is the inability to have continuous, streaming, real time data, but understand that is due to some Google issue. I appreciate the suggestion of using the embedded Googlefinance function to make it automatically pull the data every 2 minutes. It would be great to have some mechanism to force that function to recalculate at whatever rate desired. Two minutes is too long. Other than that, the functionality is very good. Just have to hunt around to find how it works. So, if there is a way to force the data refresh to 15 seconds instead of 2 minutes, that would be great.
