Review Time
I joined on a two-year contract after being clearly told the price would be fixed for the full term. Just three months later, I received an email saying an extra £5.15 line surcharge would be added — something that was never mentioned when I signed up.
Being promised a fixed price and then having additional charges introduced feels misleading and very frustrating. As a business customer, I expected transparency. This experience has left me feeling ripped off.
I can’t believe a company this bad can have any 5 star reviews; very suspicious !
And after the ITV programme on reviews I now understand that fake reviews are predominant.
We had calls from XLN many months ago. They were claiming speeds that Openreach said were totally impossible. Even after explaining Openreach opinion they persisted in claiming such speeds, so I decided I could not trust them.
Recently we received cold calls from Daisy claiming they were a separate company, now staffed by Brits. They offered me 3 months free if I signed up. They insist you are a business customer so you don’t have a 14 day cooling off period. There was no immediate confirmation of essential contract details, which is wrong. (They put that right about a week later.)
We got poor WiFi from the start and it totally disappeared in the evenings. They arranged for Openreach to visit. I waited in but nobody came.
Imagine my horror when they told me I was not with Daisy but XLN ! So we have two separate companies marketing under the same name, but they insist that contractually they are different !
Whilst Daisy is based in UK, XLN is based in India (Draw your own conclusions !)
After several legal letters they agreed I had been miss-sold and allowed me to leave. If you consider signing up, be careful about which company you are dealing with. Whichever one, expect bad customer service, and appalling speeds and possible no Wi-Fi at all in the evenings !
Finally checking my bank statement I found they were still taking Direct Debits, despite offering 3 months free. So cancel your DD when you leave,
Was misold this Internet by one of their crooked representatives. Told me to make up a business name and hed put 3 referrals of £50 on my account. The signal was crap they charged add ons without my permission. Now there sending collections instead of taking accountability.
Joining this service has been one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. My experience has been frustrating, and I feel like I'm not receiving any support. Last year, a representative approached me with an attractive offer: pay only £27 a month for two years, with the promise that I could cancel anytime without penalty. However, the actual amount deducted was £32, and they never mentioned the additional VAT. After two months, my bill unexpectedly rose to £45. When I called, they informed me that they had added insurance without my consent. I managed to get it removed, but it continued to happen month after month. Eventually, I decided to change my business address with them, and they charged me over £120 for the service change, plus the £45 bill. For two months, no one came to provide the promised services, leading me to want to leave. Three months ago, I called to express my frustration and requested to close my account. Then the real trouble began. They demanded £199 for early termination, despite the initial agreement being fee-free. I reluctantly agreed to pay to escape this situation. However, they continued to deduct £45 from my account each month, despite my account being closed. I was told that I had filled out forms incorrectly and had to approve changes. Two months later, they are still taking money from me, including charges for services I never requested. I find myself paying for a service I no longer use, and it's incredibly stressful. I've now consulted with legal assistance, as I doubt this company will offer any help.

I am currently embroiled in a dispute with them over the abysmal service provided to my partner's business. Interaction with some of their online agents has been frankly appalling. She has been without phone coverage for nearly a month, and we find ourselves in a frustrating situation. Despite not receiving the service we are paying for, we were informed that we cannot cancel the contract without incurring a penalty. I plan to contest this, possibly through legal means.
They charged me £84.60 for six months and then called to say their fee is actually £30. Dishonest practices, definitely avoid them. The internet quality is poor and frequently fails; despite multiple complaints, they do not resolve the issues. This is the worst internet service I've encountered.
