I ordered the small cereal bowls and picnic style bowls. Very pleased with picnic style bowls, however the 4x cereal bowls each arrived with what looked like a crack down one side on the outside. When I raised this with Customer service they mentioned it sometimes happens during the firing process and offered to replace - the new ones arrived with exactly the same issue. So whilst the bowls are functional, aesthetically, the ‘crack’ does bother me and I’m not sure what impact this will have on durability.If each cereal bowl produced was expected to be made with this imperfection then best that this is made fully transparent on the website. Otherwise, they are really not worth the £48 I paid.
I have loved these products and been purchasing for myself and my Daughter. Last week they advertised an offer that if you spent £70 you got a free £15 print. I placed my order and added an extra items to get the print. I only placed the order for the print. I was then emailed after I didn't receive it to be told they had none left. This type of marketing is misleading. If they had no prints they should have removed the offer. The attitude from customer services was so dismissing. We have run out so basically tough luck. It's misleading and I won't be buying again from this company unless I get the offer I signed up for. It's a lovely product at a very high end price and this should have been honoured. They can put whatever offer they like online because they don't have to deliver it anyway. A very disappointed loyal customer that has spent a lot of money with them. Even after they run out that we're still advertising this offer. Not acceptable business practice
The Yvonne Ellen products are beautiful! I had been hunting for really good quality melamine plates, bowls and cups for picnics, family bbqs, and to use everyday for the kids and their friends knowing they wouldn't get broken. I saw some of the Yvonne Ellen products in a store while on a holiday in London but didn't have the space in my luggage to bring them home. Since Brexit, getting products delivered to the Republic of Ireland from the UK can be a nightmare with customs. I was amazed with the ease of ordering online from Yvonne Ellen. The duties and taxes were all calculated at time of purchase so I didn't have to worry about additional costs. The customer service was incredibly helpful and so friendly. When my items were delivered, I was even more delighted with the products. They are so beautiful. The designs are gorgeous and the quality is top notch. This certainly won't be my last time buying from Yvonne Ellen! Thank you!
Terrible service, don't waste your money. Items are nice until they become faulty - for the money you would expect them to last a bit longer. Contacted customer service who, if you look at other negative reviews, was unhelpful and could do with improving their customer service.N.B after your reply below I would just like to add that, if you had read my email properly, I never once asked for a replacement or refund - I offered to send the item back (at my own cost) so you could see the fault to help you improve your product. Yes I bought the item in August but didn’t actually open the item until months later as I was having a kitchen refurb and wanted some nice new bits for it. Would not order again due to the service/tone of customer service emails which is a shame as the products are so pretty.
I purchased through Yvonne Ellen website a lot of their stuff, I spent about 250 pounds on two separate delivery, the quality of their stuff is fantastic and very colourful, i was very pleased, the issue started when I didn't receive the second package from Evri ( oh what surprise!) I contacted them and after few days they replied and asked me to sign a declaration form which I did straight away and I then i was told to wait for some time until Evri sort it out. I did ,I waited, i have been waiting since the 14th of May, so now even after nearly two months, im waiting for Evri to sort it out then probably Ill receive a refund. Its ridiculous that the costumers have to deal with Evri when this should be an internal issue for the company.
I was looking forward to receiving my products from my first ever order with Yvonne Ellen. The order was delivered and left on my doorstep and unfortunately it went missing. I found the customer service agent rather rude saying I should have been in to receive it and that is why they send delivery emails. These were missed as they went into junk and I do have a busy life with work etc and can’t be in for every order. She likened it to me leaving my grocery shopping in my car with the boot open! It is not like that at all. I never said to leave the parcel on my front door step (visible from the road) nor did I tell Evri it was a safe place! After numerous emails with me requesting a r replacement order or a refund I was told they could not do that until they had raised a claim with Evri which would take a month or more and might not even be favourable. As I had spent £92 I did not want to loose that so I put a claim in with PayPal who thankfully refunded me the money. I have not heard anything else from YE. I thought as a small business they would have valued my custom more and had better customer service. I am disappointed and unfortunately will not be ordering again from them.
