We booked a car through Zoom Rent-A-Car in Fort Lauderdale, the shuttle took over an hour, but that was the least of our worries, because they would not accept our personal insurance, and told us we had to pay $80 US per day on top of what we had already paid through Expedia. We tried to cancel the reservation and they would not don’t waste your money. This company is a complete scam.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of progress and the repeated generic replies I have received regarding my stolen vehicle, which has been missing since March 22, 2025. It has now been over 220 days, and I still have no clear update or resolution from your side. I have fully cooperated by filing complaints with the authorities twice and registering a formal report. I have also shared the details of the investigating officer and all necessary documents. Despite this, there has been no recovery of my vehicle or any substantial update from your team. This ongoing delay has caused significant financial strain. I have been paying a monthly installment of Rs. 27,155, and over these months, I have already paid more than Rs. 2,17,240 from my own income. The continuous financial burden is creating serious hardship for me and my family, impacting both our mental and physical well-being. I urge you to treat this matter with urgency. Please provide me with a detailed status update on the investigation and the steps being taken to recover my vehicle. I expect a clear and specific response within the next few days. As mentioned in my previous messages, I was hoping for a clear resolution by today. However, despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no response or concrete action from your end. Since there has been no progress or resolution even after 7 to 8 months, I now request that you initiate the process to reimburse me with the ex-showroom value of my vehicle, along with compensation for the financial and mental stress I have experienced during this prolonged period. Please share your resolution and proceed with the necessary formalities within the next 2 to 3 days. It has been over seven months of continuous waiting with no outcome, which is unacceptable. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within the given timeline, I will be compelled to file a formal report against your company and also approach the consumer court for redressal.

While they promised to refund the booking amount, what about the expenses we incurred on other reservations like hotels? Who is responsible for those losses? The service refuses to take accountability and only offers apologies. They don’t ensure that pick-up locations are safe and accessible. It’s risky for people to go to such questionable places for pick-up. This platform is the worst for rental cars. They completely ruined our trip. I strongly recommend against booking a rental car through this service.

The reserved vehicle was unavailable, forcing me to pay more for a suitable option, along with unexpected charges. The car was in poor condition, 5 years old with 96,000 miles, peeling paint, and numerous scratches. It even lacked decent wiper blades. I recommend avoiding this place.
I booked a rental for 5 days at the airport. Upon arrival, a virtual assistant took 35 minutes to NOT provide me with a car. When I inquired about the deposit, she mentioned it could range from $250 to $2,500. I mentioned I had $500 available, which she said was acceptable. However, the process was painfully slow, and I was bombarded with additional charges for toll coverage. Ultimately, I had to return to the airport and take an Uber to my hotel. I do not recommend this service.
This service shows no quality standards for their cars. I received a vehicle that struggled to start and indicated it required service. I picked it up at the airport without a thorough check, and when I noticed issues, returning it took two days and multiple calls. Despite providing video evidence, they claimed no issues were found during their inspection and refused a refund. There are no standards in place; I would avoid this service in the future.
Day 11 — still no resolution from the service. Over 10 tickets raised, countless follow-ups, and always the same response — “We’ll call you back in an hour.” The entire day passes with no call or update. This isn’t customer service; it’s negligence. Please escalate this to management immediately. Hosts trust this platform, but this delay undermines that trust. We deserve real support, not scripted replies.
