Review Time
We turned up to the accommodation at Beauport holiday park which was dirty and mouldy. I told them immediately I wasn’t going to stay in the accommodation as the cleaning was not to standard especially due to covid and was unfit for us and our 2 year old daughter. They asked us to go through the Airbnb complaints procedure and then heard nothing so no refund as yet and missed the deadline.
If I could rate this company with a minus I would, we stayed at Beauport, which is a bit like Gods waiting room, nice setting but that is about all. Our caravan was absolutley filthy, mould on the walls, bathroom shower all mouldy, kitchen bin still had food in it, last occupants towels left in the cupboards, front door of caravan was covered in child's sticky fingerprints. I made 12 phone calls to 1066 holidays and not one of them was answered, 2 emails showing photos, no reply. I went through booking.com in the end, they did eventually send a lady with a toddler in tow to collect towels. I asked her if she was going to clean and she said no, I'm only collecting towels as not being paid!!! This company is a shambles, when I finally got a response on the 4 day they said they would review their cleaning regime!! seriously, in the times we are living in, your cleaning should be the best it has ever been, not the worst. I would never book a stay with company again you are a disgrace.
I wouldn’t give any stars but zero isn’t an optionCancelled my booking less than 24 hours prior to my stay stating an apparent leak at the property and offering me a much lower spec accommodation with a slight refund to reflect this. Spent most of the day I was due to stay chasing them to sort out and finally getting access very late in the day. The caravan smelt musty like it had been left empty for a long time. No refund of the difference has been given which doesn’t surprise me with the attitude of the satay I dealt with. I will certainly be looking to avoid booing through this company in the future.
The caravan was lovely, clean and had all you need, and it's situated next to the playground and entertainment bar which is a perk for families! Will definitely book again with 1066holidays as they are reliable, honest and always there to answer any questions you might have!
Caravan was lovely we have used it before clean on arrival TV wasn’t working so elderly lady couldn’t sit and watch it, also shower was dripping and very difficult to turn off I reported both things , tv guy came next day couldn’t fix it shower nobody showed up Camp entertainment was great staff friendly also.
